I actually think I could deal with an open ending or an ambiguous one. That way the fans can take what they want from it, make their own headcanon, turn it into fanfics, and be satisfied with that. When I think of an open ending, to me it's like everyone wins and everyone loses.   

 

I don't particularly want a open ending nor does it make a lot of sense with all the stressing on Kushina's line, but it's better than NaruHina or SasuSaku happening.

You......you should stop saying predictions.....ur predictions scare me nowadays......obviously becoz they most likely come true at least in some way or the other......and i remember the last time u predicted about 693 and how that turned out.

I have a little theory (if you want to call it that). We all know how Sakura gave Naruto CPR a while back. Even if it was just for medical purposes, it still means a lot. Kishimoto hasn't shown ANY of the pairings that have become canon lock lips. You know Minato and Kushina, Obito and Rin, and Hashirama and Mito. Isn't it kind of weird he'd have Sakura lock lips with Naruto? Kyaa!

I've been recently thinking about this...

 

In regards to pairings, we've all waited for the confirmation of Sakura's feelings, and we kind of sort of got it (because it was from Sakura's point of view). And now we're waiting for that one moment, when Naruto confesses to Sakura, if he ever does. We all expected him to do it at some point, but we don't know anymore.

 

But while waiting for all this, what about Naruto replying to Hinata's confession? Just cause it didn't happen after all this time, doesn't mean Naruto really is going to ignore it forever. Naruto sees Hinata as a close comrade at this point, so don't you think we should also be expecting him to respond back? No matter how Naruto does it, it has a possibility of happening at some point as well.

 

This is where the whole NaruSaku vs NaruHina thing just hits back full-force... xD 

 

I don't know how the pairing s**t will be dealt with, whether it squeezes itself in the next 5 chapters, or in that movie... but I just feel like a lot of things in regards to these pairings are still unanswered. SasuSaku is out of the question, but NaruHina is still floating in the air along with NaruSaku. Just makes me wonder.

Perhaps it's just semantics, but I feel as if I have to keep reminding people:  There is no NH.  Never has been.  There is no reciprocal romantic relationship there, any more than there ever was for SS.  There is H but no N.   So the idea / concern that there is a NH pairing "still floating in the air" alongside NS is erroneous.

 

Without Naruto having any sort of romantic feelings for Hinata, there is no reason to fear what happens or how it happens.  Kishimoto may feel that Naruto is nice enough to give Hinata an official answer and may want to provide closure to Hinata's fans, but it won't be anything that threatens NS.

 

Personally, I think it would be IDEAL if Naruto were to tell Hinata (and therefore her fans) point blank that he loves Sakura.  That would end any rational discussion on the matter, and not leave any wiggle room to make up a reason why he didn't choose Hinata.

 

Regardless, if Naruto does speak to Hinata we can be assured that his ultimate rejection of her feelings will be done in a far nicer way than Sasuke rejected Sakura.

 

Ironically, though, I bet if that happens Hinata fans will hate Naruto more than SS fans hate Sasuke.

I bet Kishi will end the manga by having Sakura blush to redeemed Sasuke,than Sakura saying "Thanks Naruto for bringing Sasuke back" and flirt with him and have Naruto throw a nice word to Hinata and then sit back and watch the fandom's tear each other apart debating which one is more canon

SS fans will continue to like Sasuke no matter what even if he doesn't like Sakura at all.

IMO if Kishi make NS canon he'll just have to say that Sakura confession to Sasuke was just an attempt to get him back from 'darkness' (like Sakura did to Naruto to prevent him to go on battlefield).

In fact this kitten confession was foreshadowed by Kakshi who told her that she can save Sasuke from darkness but it's obvious that it is Naruto's job. So she just tried to do it with an ambiguous confession (IMO she just loves him as a teammate right now) and as expected it failed.

And for what Kakashi said to Sasuke after he made his genjutsu on Sakura, he just interpreted what sakura said as he wanted as far as i know he doesn't know about her real feelings... (we don't know either and even sakura doesn't really know I think xD)
