I agree with this. I always hated how Village came first before family & friends in this dumb manga. Never love something that can't love you back.

Naruto is a sh*tty parent just like Sasuke......... Being Hokage is no excuse for ignoring your children. That's a BS excuse. I hope Naruto working so much has something to do with his marriage to Hinata or something.
 
And this is one of the most emotionally gratifying moments for all Sasuke haters in the manga
 

It is indeed his marriage. His expressions...when with Bolt makes it seem like he is frustrated about something and Bolt reminds him of it. Its not that 'bugged up due to your pranks' expressions. I can see NO way for Naruto not giving time to his family after he knew about MinaKushi and how they were as a parent. Doesn't tally with anything. Naruto has married unwillingly...the disappearance of his smile is the biggest evidence. He doesn't give time to his family at all. And Naruto being a workaholic? Please....the whole manga right from lart 1 contradicts that. His marriage is the problem and he probably can't complain and so can't Sakura.

About the Shiki Fuuin though....there were a crap ton of ways to go about sealing Kurama. But given the fact that someone like Kushina was on her deathbed....he had used MOST of his chakra teleporting Nine Tails out of Konoha.....Naruto had been attacked and someone like Tobi was having control over Kurama and Naruto's life.....it'd seem the best option. Had Hiruzen been there? Might be a different story. Essentially....Minato was the ONLY one to protect those two. Think about his son first in this situation? That'd make him a terrible Hokage. Even the first said the same thing about village. And besides....given the amount of chakra reserves of Minato...there was no way in hell he'd have saved Konoha, Kushina and Naruto and defeat Kurama. Save Naruto...the village'd be destroyed....Naruto'd have no where to go and hence he iterated these words to Kushina, "You of all should understand the fate that awaits for people like us who don't have a place to go" Kushina had asked him the same question. Sealing like this...was the only option there. If he had help...that's another story. I doubt that'd have helped 'cuz Kurama took out all of the elite ANBU single handedly.

"Why this?" and he said that, "NOT being a jinchuriki....I'll do the only sealing jutsu I am capable of doing" And both of them dying....well...when Kurama attacked Naruto....Kushina tried to save him and Minato did the same killing both of them in the process. There was not much they could do in that situation.

Minato entrusted Naruto with the Kyuubi despite knowing the hardships he'd have to face because he had faith in him that Naruto would open up the future with Kurama. Because he believed that he was the child of prophecy. And he WAS!!!! Both of them knew far too well the hardships that awaited Naruto but they were sure that their son was strong. Naruto asked him, "Why!!! Why the hell did you seal Kyuubi inside your own son. You knew full well what I'd have to bear" and Minato's reply was, "Because....I know you were strong enough. I believed in you" He was sure of Naruto's destiny and to guide him on that path....he entrusted him to Jiraiya!

Do you...honestly think he made his decision with his brains or because he didn't have a choice? Do you honestly believe that a man like Minato would gladly sacrifice his son's social status if and when he had another choice. He didn't have other choice. And that is why...Kushina said, "Be strong, Naruto. Have a dream and have courage in yourself to fulfil that dream." They knew full well what they were doing. They made a sacrifice too. They were not happy about it. Did you see Minato and Kushina happy about their choice when they met Naruto? They didn't have any other choice.

Do you know where Jiraiya was for 12 years? Spying on Akatsuki. Take Naruto with him? Akatsuki knows Jiraiya is on their lead....do you honestly think that infant Naruto'd be safe with Jiraiya in this scenario? And would Jiraiya be able to take care of Naruto in this situation? He used to spy months endless on Akatsuki. Would he able to devote time to Naruto? In this situation....Naruto was better off with Hiruzen. Not that he suffered any less. But atleast his life was safe in hands of Hiruzen.

Even I don't understand why he didn't tell people that Naruto was Minato's and Kushina's son. His suffering would have eased A LOT! But the reason why Hiruzen didn't make the status of Naruto being the next Jinchuriki public was simply to protect Naruto again. Do you remember what happened to Konoha when Pain came to know about Naruto as the jinchuriki and he resides in Konoha? It took 7 Akatsuki members, all.of them are Pain, nonetheless, and still they couldn't capture Kyuubi. Naruto was weak then. Do you think Naruto would have survived if Akatsuki were to capture him and take the Kyuubi outta him? That is why he forbid people to talk about the Kyuubi.

Its not that these people were happy about their decisions. They weren't. But life isn't filled with all the convenient decisions that you are gonna make and be happy about it. There will be times when you'd have to make sacrifices and take tough decisions....not because you want them...but because you'd have no choice and they are necessary. Not because they don't benefit now but because they'd benefit you five years down the line...

In terms of Naruto's status, Hiruzen probably kept his birthright hidden partly because he didn't want Naruto growing up with a big head and partly because he knew there were many people, both foreign AND domestic, would who seek to either eliminate Naruto or seek to use Naruto for his status. Basically, many people in the village who would kiss his ass, like they probably did with Sasuke after the massacre, in order to gain "favor" with Naruto, or use him like some figurehead type for their own intentions (for those who know of it, think of the child emperor in Akame ga Kill! who is used by the Prime Minister). With his Jinchuriki status, Hiruzen was clearly naive in his belief in the "goodness" of people, but as many fanfics have brought up, it was also probably made public as a message to deter other villages from considering trying to attack Konoha since it was weakened with its losses from the attack itself coupled with those over the years (Orochimaru betraying Konoha, Tsunade ditching it, Jiraiya constantly absent for his duties, and so on)

In terms of Jiraiya, it's much more the way he tried to train Naruto that irked me. As brought up, it's understandable that he ACTUALLY had an important job that required him to be absent (unlike a certain someone). It's primarily due to the fact that he focused so heavily on Naruto relying on using Kurama's chakra even though, from spying on the Akatsuki, he knew one of their goals was collecting the Biju/Jinchuriki and should've been able to deduce from what members he knew were part of it that the members were set up specifically to combat such opponents. Having Naruto completely rely on Kurama's chakra and little to nothing else would be playing right to their advantage rather than in Naruto's favor. That's not to say that Naruto should not have learned to use it at all, but he should have been taught a whole lot more than that in various other areas, especially during the time skip. You would think Jiraiya would have done so especially after his bad encounter with unlocking more of Kurama's chakra for Naruto to use, only for Naruto to go four-tailed berserker and nearly killing him, thus making him realize that Naruto relying on Kurama's chakra was not only going to handicap him against fighting Akatsuki, but was also just plain too dangerous to Naruto himself and everyone else around him.

That was why I was actually excited when, after the four-tailed incident at the bridge, Naruto proclaimed that he would get stronger using his own power, and half-created the Rasenshuriken...and then things went downhill.

I've said it time & again that Sasuke wasn't fit to be a parent especially after what happened to him. He was basically forced to give his seed to Sakura by Kishi the sperm donor.

Ironically...... Everything that Naruto and Sasuke have gone through as kids is what should have made them great parents but instead it gets flipped on its ass as well just like everything in the manga.
