By the way... what do you consider as "NS happens"?

I can already see what Kishimoto would write to the readers/fans on the last page of the manga .

Its even more ridiculous that we have to wait a whole year to see this freaking conclusion  sadly I don't see a saving grace for NS even if its canon in the movie since the writing is horrible no matter how you look at it  he could have made NS believable  100 times by now but all we got is cockteasing and missed opportunities  all for the sake of not loosing any fanbase and money instead of  writing this kitten good  and as a writer should  but instead he f**cked up the story and the relationships even more .

 

Heh! don't be surprised if this actually happens  after 693 nothing is impossible his moral and writing senses are completely of  and this only proves  it .

honestly i dunno... I'd like to live in kishi's mind (well, not really) but there're many opitions left.

-Sasuke won and left Naruto severily injured (right arm), he will go to undo the MT with bijuus' chakra. And a new era will start. That could explain why shinobi jacket from Konoha has quite changed in the movie.

-Naruto will tnj to Sasuke and he will go back in Konoha happy.

-Naruto will defeat Sasuke and then... dunno LOL

Sasuke ending up with Sakura, especially with no build up seems highly unlikely. 693 really hurt it's chances.

 

NaruSaku is still in the lead in terms of development but that happening is also unlikely/will be half-assed.

 

NaruHina....well it's more likely than SS but Naruto liking Sakura is part of his character which hasn't changed so if Kishi still cares that'll be a part of his character in The Last. Being the main character his pairing has more priority than those two.

 

Honestly didn't know what I was expecting tbh. Too many missed opportunities to really wrap this up on a good note for me. Kinda wish I didn't get into pairings now. :/

Also Kishi went out of his way to show us there was zero chemistry between Hinata and Naruto, while it had a bit of potential at the end of part 1.

If she was really Naruto's chosen waifu, I would have expected her to be allowed to casually interact a little bit with him in the course of part 2. Even Kiba has more 'moments' with Naruto than Hinata does.

Well I have these ideas

• Sasuke is TNJed and T7 is uniited.Everything is ok and everyone is happy.This means Sasuke isn't the bad boy in new movie,another villain shows up.
• Sasuke escaped and Naruto's arm is wounded.IT is dispelled and in new movie Sasuke is villain
• Sasuke is TNJed and T7 is back again.A new villain comes and creates a storm and Sasuke dies as a true shinobi in new movie.

Wow this thread is heating up lol but seriously I was thinking and it probably won't happen but what if Kishi decided to end Naruto with 50 pages in the end just like how he did in the beginning he started off with 50 pages.

About narusaku,as a writer he should show NS and naruto becoming hokage coz that's how all this began as a base and most importantly it is his dream.But already him being hokage is out of question in the manga so i won't be surprised it is an open ending  but he will leave a sure confirming hint that narusaku is the pairing in the end of the story so narusaku as a couple/the way he makes them canon in the movie may feel more legit(even if the movie is canon) since it's not part/shown in the manga.Still,the sad thing is  making NS canon and naruto as hokage in the movie(even if canon) is nonsense becoz that is the manga's main important content therefore should be done in the manga itself.

 

There were so many opportunities to make NS properly canon if he had not gone for his teasing and trolling the shipping fans.As for naruto not becoming hokage in the manga,i don't even know what to say to that.

 

Even if rushed i want narusaku to be canon in the manga itself.It will lack proper execution but it is way better than making it canon in the movie.
