i have always knew this... NS wouldn't have become canon if Sasuke was still out of the village. Naruto won't confess to her until Sasuke will come back. And, honestly, I prefer so.

Considering the mess Kishi has made of the romance sub plot I really hope he doesnt leave it up to the anime team solely to do the pairings otherwise they will just do NH over a timeskip and get this over with

I'm going to bet no pairing is going to be hinted at in the manga. Bait all the pairing fans into seeing the movie. It's the best way to grab cash from the pairing fans. If I was Kishi that is exactly what I would do.

But I doubt Kishi knows how bad this shipping wars are and besides all pairing fans are Naruto fans first.Will they stop watching a movie over a pairing?I dont think so .lol

Can't see Sasuke ending up with anyone tbh.

 

I also can't see him being a regular in Konoha based on the sketch that was released on the movie ticket. Seems more like a wanderer with Taka.

 

So that leaves NH vs NS in the movie.

 

Pairings to be resolved will have to be during the movie, and if Hinata's confession didn't lead anywhere, I doubt whatever happened in the war will either.

 

There is also the narrator in that video but honestly I wouldn't rely on that too much.

 

Either way, NS's only hope rests with the movie/whatever Sakura decides to do during the following chapters.

Its even more ridiculous that we have to wait a whole year to see this freaking conclusion  sadly I don't see a saving grace for NS even if its canon in the movie since the writing is horrible no matter how you look at it  he could have made NS believable  100 times by now but all we got is cockteasing and missed opportunities  all for the sake of not loosing any fanbase and money instead of  writing this kitten good  and as a writer should  but instead he kittened up the story and the relationships even more .

Heh! don't be surprised if this actually happens  after 693 nothing is impossible his moral and writing senses are completely of  and this only proves  it .
