Pretty much. Rakheid was probably a way to remember Mavis by, and as a tool to kill Acnologia. Either way, he wins. Rakheid's claims of being unloved is due to Zeref's curse. After all, it kills everyone Zeref shows the slightest hint of loving.

No, it was explicitly she fell into a death like sleeping state right after kissing Zeref. can't imagine anything after that happening though yeah Zeref coulf have taken her DNA by other means. Yeah, that sounds wrong

That's one kittened up family, Dad is an immortal 19 year old (probably Virgin), Uncles a reanimated Dragon Slayer with demonic powers, and mothers a forever 14 year old (Also Virgin) Guild leader, previously a Spectre Mage.

 

I'm guessing he used DNA of himself and a Few strands of Mavis's hair to create Rahkeid, using a similar technique to that he used to revive Dragneel, only using Light magic instead of the dark magic used to recreate Natsu.

Her spectre form and Zeref were on the island for who knows how long, maybe they talked? Though unlikely, I don't know whose reaction would be more amusing, Mavis finding out she has a son who looks older than her, or Rahkeid finding out his mother is a 100+ year old stuck in 14 year old's body?
