Yeah... as the sitting president of the "Sasuke Uchiha should have died" club, I can say without much doubt, that he likely will not so much as suffer from a stubbed toe by the time this "side story" is over. That boat has sailed. Sadly.

Putting the village infront of his family may seem okay as a Hokage but as a father and husband i'd say it was wrong.

 

Wasn't there any other way to seal Kurama other than the Shiki Fuuin ?? His wife was on the deathbed and he goes and gets himself killed     

And he hopes that people will treat his Jinchuuriki son like a hero. This coming from a guy who fought in a war and knew how Jinchuuriki's were treated as. He didn't think things through  but it's just my opinion.

 

But Sadly everything in Naruto seems to feed off of bad decisions made by everyone.

This is kinda OT here, but as it's the most active Naruto thread I'm going to post it anyway.
 
I don't have time, but I'm suddenly stricken by the urge to do a meta-analysis of the fandom's hatred of Sakura compared to the hatred of Book!Sansa from ASOIAF.

I think this is the right comparison.
I'm not familiar with asoif fandom, so does Sansa get the same amount of hate like sakura? Or is Sansa just part of the writing?

I think Minato did it expecting fully that the Leaf would have his son's back, especially the Third, his student Kakashi, and his old master Jariya.

 

Of course that didn't happen, but since all that set up is a retcon anyways it's hard to judge it on it's merit. We all have to remember that Minato wasn't originally going to be Naruto's father, that all didn't come until later. If Kishimoto went into the story planning on Minato being his father, then the whole setup would be hard to swallow. As it is, it just looks like bad writing. I never really understood the excuse. I mean isn't Jariya Naruto's Godson? Shouldn't he have taken care of him then his whole life?

 

Alot of the set up doesn't work anymore.

At the very least, you know he loved his family and would spend time with his son because of his excitement, he wouldn't be like how Naruto is, also I count the Kakashi thing as a filler lol

Naruto is a sh*tty parent just like Sasuke......... Being Hokage is no excuse for ignoring your children. That's a BS excuse. I hope Naruto working so much has something to do with his marriage to Hinata or something.

 

And this is one of the most emotionally gratifying moments for all Sasuke haters in the manga

I agree with this. I always hated how Village came first before family & friends in this dumb manga. Never love something that can't love you back.

I understand completely, that's why I give Minato the benefit of the doubt even though I agree with your original post, I hate Naruto more than Sasuke because he is around and his child acts rebellious against him, while for Sasuke, I can't find the right words for it
