Its harder for me to accept that based in Chattes above post, but also because it's hard for me to accept the toxicity of everything that has happened since the ending being genuine.

Well that would explain why the story suddenly did a complete 180 and started revolving almost solely around glorifying Hinata at the expense of everyone else as well as the increased focus on romance. 

 

Of course there's no way of knowing if this is actually true. If it is then I can totally see Kishi speaking out against the ending and admitting that he was forced. Then again he is ultimately the one who let them do it. The guy should have fought for his story and his heroine.

 

On the other hand, this sounds rather extreme. What were they going to do if Kishi refused? Hold him at gunpoint until he complied? Most likely they would probably just sue him for breach of contract or something like that. Shueisha must be really desperate.

They surely saw that he was easily influenced, so MAYBE they managed to show him that Hinata was more appreciated than Sakura by his fans, and that he shouldn't disappoint them and blahblahblah ....if it was Eichiiro Oda or Sorachi they would have laughed at their editors and continue working on their series without changing anything...but Kishi just gave up on everything, so Sheisha and SP aren't the only ones to blame...but kishi too !

kishi wasn't forced into anything, because he's been doing stupid kitten years before the ending. he replaced hinata's potential for love, made sakura hold onto a love that made no sense, and had naruto chase after a guy who hated his guts. the ending is just the accumulation of all the kitten he's been spewing in this manga.

So much of This !!! His writing was horrible and full of sexist kitten even before the War Arc. Even if that kitten is true I don't see how this changes anything except furthermore prove that he " Sold Out "  he let them do this based on popularity and went with the flow and  bc of " Money " since that's the only thing that changed for him in this 15 years  . Seriously Kikitten is one of the most popular mangakas  I doubt he was so much "forced" and would have let this happen  without a fight but the men didn't even do that   He just Let it go and did what he did  *sign* .
