Imagine that Sasuke wins the last battle, that he rips out every last bit of Bijuu chakra from Naruto killing him but then realizes his mistakes because Naruto changed him at the cost of his life.
As Sasuke releases the world from Infinite Tsukuyomi, Sakura wakes up and runs towards their battlefield gathering the entire Alliance behind her as they rush towards the valley of the end.When she arrives, Sasuke is gone, he left with Naruto’s extracted Bijuu not knowing he could use it to revive him. Sakura is broken and distraught, worse had come to worse and Naruto had died at Sasuke’s hands.Sakura leans over Naruto’s body crying in despair, her entire world fell appart as if all the things she went through in life had been for nothing.Kakashi stands besides her, crying silently and unable to find words of consolation for the both of them.The Alliance surrounding the edges of the ruined valley breaks into tears aswell, seeing Sakura crying uncontrollably over Naruto’s body. A feeling of disbelief took over everyone present, the hero who led them so far had died and winning the war felt almost meaningless.Sakura, overwhelmed by loss finally realized how much Naruto meant to her, she had gotten through her insecurities and reconnected with Ino because of him, she could get over Sasuke’s defection and grow stronger because of him, she didn’t give up and helped defeat Kaguya because he believed in her. Without Naruto, she wasn’t complete, it was him and not Sasuke who had been the most important person in her life.All seemed lost but suddenly Ten-Ten comes rushing in with the Sage’s tools alongside Killer B. He explains that they only need a small piece of Bijuu chakra to revive a Jinchuuriki and that the tools contained Kurama’s chakra from the Gold and Silver Brothers.Hope suddenly bursted through the ranks of the alliance but then Killer B added that to open the tools they would need chakra comparable to that of the Sage and that it still could be too late to save Naruto. Sakura’s tears then turned into courage, she told everyone they had to give it a try and Shikamaru added that even if they were weak alone, together they could rival the power of the Sage.Ten-Ten and B brought the tools before Naruto and the Alliance formed a praying circle around the entire crater of the fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Their chakras connected, praying for Naruto’s safety, Ninshu as it had been envisioned by the Sage and the revolution Naruto was prophesied to bring forth.Suddenly, the tools burst open and from them Kurama’s chakra flows into Naruto like their feelings reaching towards him.Then silence… Naruto’s body remained still and lifeless, was it too late? Sakura breaking into tears yells furiously at Naruto:-Wake up you idiot! Please don’t leave me alone, so please, please, please wake up! I can’t go on without you… Naruto… because… I love you… She is crying over his face when suddenly she is kissed in her forehead.
That would be nice, it's a shame Kishimoto could never really write something like this. He has no idea the potential this series once had. Oh well.
