NF, tumblr, pretty most everywhere...

 

the ridicolous thing is that it's fine post pro nh/ss post but if you have to do one pro NS, a huge crawd just comes to mock you and got piss off..

 

i know that there's a unnecessary comparison here, but I feel like we NS like jewishs during the nazi period :/

I have yet to be mocked on tumblr, but then I haven't been there long.

Since we were on the topic of Fanfictions, I have a story to tell! I once got tired of Sakura/NaruSaku bashing fics, and wrote a Hinata/NaruHina bashing fic. Just imagine the amount of hate I got. (I actually had to delete it)

I'm in the process of writing a NS fic, I highly doubt that I'll mention Hinata more than 5 times and Sasuke won't be a major part of the plot. He'll get dealt with and then he'll know his role lol

Hopefully the hate won't be bad when I publish it.

i also noticed that most ss fans are anti ns (narusasu) too... lool. so they cannot even accept that bond between Naruto and Sasuke, just because it's too outstanding enough to overshadow their otp...

 

bah... hypocrisy everywhere... and I even despise NaruSasu... it's just I am not so blind lol

Also on the topic of fanfiction, I find it funny that when I read a different Sakura pairing fanfiction (like KakaSaku or ShikaSaku), the authors instantly pair Naruto up with Hinata. Like, she's nowhere on his radar, and just because if he ends up not getting with Sakura it doesn't mean he's just gonna move on to her. That just really annoys me

I've never bashed Sasuke, Hinata or any other character in my stories. And I've never felt the need to do so. Any decent author can establish a pairing without bashing.

One time I read a story that didn't do NH, but had NH hints a couple times and some of the reviewers were actually like "NO, NH is overdone!"

Yeah, I don't think it's necessary either. Just have your couple be happy. Is rather see them not have much focus (as I'm trying to do) than be bashed. You shouldn't have to bash another ship to be able to write yours effectively.

You can pay attention to the rival pairings, but without resorting to bashing. It's not that hard to close a romantic side plot.

I would never bash Hinata or Sasuke in any of my fics. I don't like it when authors feel the need to bash a ship in a story more than what the story has shown and I don't like that with characters either. I can write a NS story with Hinata around pretty easily ... and as for Sasuke, I usually use him as one of the NS's pairing conflicts until the end.

 

Many NH fanfics portray Sakura as this big b*tch towards Naruto while Hinata treats him like an angel and I've never understood how. It's like even in fanfics, when NH is a sure thing, they just have to vent out their frustrations on Sakura. It's dumb. Why not make a normal shipping fic for once??

 

I've also grown really tired of all the fics that have NaruHina and SasuSaku tied together. It's like they just can't have Naruto not with HInata if SS happens and they just can't have Sakura not with Sasuke if NH happens. The ships can't stand on their own. Honestly that really makes them come off as insecure.

It's not that I can't write one with Hinata present, it's just there's no need for her in the plot. The prevalent people in mine are Naruto, Sakura, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Itachi (who's going to be an older brother figure, to Naruto), Madara, Minato, and the Akatsuki (in no particular order) and some others. If it was just a romance fic, then yeah, I could write her pretty easily and be fine, but the adventure in mine is just as important, and she doesn't really fit in all that well to it.

I don't read any Naruto fics other than NS so I can't really comment on the rest XD

But if she happens to be with Naruto, it'd be a struggle for me. Hinata is so Naruto-centric and I'd start getting a little annoyed seeing that over and over since I have enough of that in the manga. I try to keep true to canon characters so I would probably end up doing it anyway, but her character would suffer as much it improves because that's what Naruto does to her.

That's the only time she would really appear in my writings, if she's actually chosen for a mission or something. But nothing big or anything. I can't see how she'd be important in the fic I'm working on. Who knows, maybe I'll have an epiphany. You're right though, I'd probably get annoyed with the whole Naruto-centric thing, we've already been beaten over the head with it enough.
