Suki means love
daisuki means I love
so then wouldn't it be "daisuki"?

I think diasuki means "I love you very much," but Sakura didn't say "very much" in her sentencing. It really makes little difference and they both can used to tell someone I love you.

So she told Naruto "I love you" and Sasuke "I love you very much"

Basically this. Though from what I can gather, suki and daisuki doesn't have much of a difference to them in terms of context so using either one basically means the same thing.

yeah... most wifes and girlfriends use suki in the nowadays japan... Daisuki is usually expressed when you husband/boyfriend does really something important for you and you over please him with daisuki..
Aikitteneru... meh... it's really a word that hardly any use it now..... even though in the manga it's a word often expressed (Itachi, Kushina, Gaara's mom)

So daisuki can be used in a platonic way then? Like between comrades and family?

I believe you can use it that sense, unless I'm misinterpreting something...

Hey 六道仙人, is "ti voglio bene" close to suki or daisuki?
more close to "suki". Daisuki can be applied with "Ti voglio tanto bene".

@pepsi
Technically, sasuke doesn't fulfill his dream too, since itachi killer is aids.
Itachi had TB...... not Aids. You don't cough up blood when you have AIDS. IT was Tuberculosis.
