Wow i never knew just how crazily epic this debate thread can get some times. First that one panel brings havoc to NaruSaku and lowers our hopes a bit UNTIL we hear the thoughts of everyone and our hope comes right back Then a NaruHina shipper comes out of the blue just to state that our pairing is dead (rubbish) and boom it's a full war out here Ahhhh but then that we all come together and laugh and joke about. Man i love this forum so much. You guys rule and the day NaruSaku happens i will run down my street yelling "Success, Success, we woooon. I said who who NARUSAKU"

Then my whole neighborhood will probably call me a maniac for the rest of my life but who cares

For everyone here who's still focusing on the interview: forget it!
Just like Otaru wrote in the 'What if we lose?' thread: 'lol i think if narusaku actually doesn't happen, i think i would go back to school to learn again how to analyse a text or a story LOL' <<<I totally agree, I'm also confident in my skills and if it doesn't turn out as I expect, then I should reconsider my decision to study a language or two after graduating. The pages mentioned below are my absolutely favorite ones. If the quality of the irony Kishimoto created there SLUMPS DOWN (due to NaruHina ) my respect for him will do the same.

AND adjust the picture SO THAT Minato's and Naruto's figures practically OVERLAP. Open two tabs and switch from one to the other as fast as you can NaruSaku JUMPS RIGHT INTO YOUR FACE. Also notice that Sakura has her eyes WIDE OPEN and LOOKS UP TO KUSHINA >>> (not sure is this is possible with a copy of 'Jump', but with some imagination, why not? hahaha)

Watch carefully and tell my what you see. I see a bright future for NaruSaku. Naruto and Sakura are drawn bigger than Minato/Kushina, they have practically GROWN INTO THEIR FATE.

This overlapping issue is something that reminds me of !!!Resonance/Mesomerism!!!, which exists mostly in organic chemistry and is based on 'delocalized electrons'.
You also try to imagine an overlapping of two or more mesomeric 'lewis structures' to get a better understanding of REALITY (or you use more complicated scientific models...I absolutely HATE chemistry).

The saying 'The chemistry is right.' fits well in this context.
My point should be clear by now, just keep an eye on Minato's and Naruto's/Kushina's and Sakura's postures and Sakura's and Kushina's facial expressions and you are gonna see REALITY and NOT NaruHina

There's yet to be found a comparably EPIC scene with NaruHina hahaha

And here I thought the Hinata chapter, 469, AND 470 was bad...

This one actually took the cake and pie.

Actually I thought the reaction was way worse in 469, when we had all the lurking members that just wait for a chance to bash Sakura piled into that thread. Then had to take most of their bashing arguments back when 470 came out....

This one was mostly just the usual panic reactions of the less certain narusaku fans, with a NHer flamebaiting and a couple of Sakura bashers...

I'll repeat here what I said in the chapter threads about the ships:

Naruhina and Sasusaku are less than one sided, while narusaku is mutual. NH and SS are less than one sided now because Naruto has zero interest in Hinata, and Hinata is transitioning quite readily away from her crush and to seeing Naruto as an encouraging role model.

(Hinata does come out looking better emotionally wise in this chapter- but she had less to move on from- just her one sided crush- she can still view Naruto as a role model- and in fact has finally moved toward doing so in a constructive way now that she's let go of her romantic feelings. This was the first chapter I saw Hinata actually making constructive growth, her crush on Naruto held her back the same as Sakura's part 1 crush on Sasuke did, moreso in fact. Sakura grew despite her one sided crush, and as she grew her crush became less a happy thing for her, it was already causing her nothing but pain in the later part of part 1. While her slowly growing feelings toward Naruto even in part 1, gave her happiness and aided in her growth. )

Sasuke has zero interest in Sakura, except as one of the many people he wants to kill- and attempted to four times now, Naruto being first on his list. The memories of her feelings for Sasuke just makes her miserable and ashamed. Sounds pretty dead a ship to me. Sakura is romantically in love with Naruto, Sakura said so, Sai said so, Naruto doesn't disagree and in fact sees Sakura now in his mind looking at him with romantic love, and Kishimoto himself made the point blank statement to all Sakura bashers that Sakura was being completely truthful about being romantically in love with Naruto and believing that she had purged all her feelings for Sasuke- even team mate bonds. Knowing she still feels a connection to Sasuke, just makes her feel sick at heart. How does her romantic love for Naruto make her feel- Happy, flirtatious, blushing, safe and warm inside. Naruto loves Sakura, Sakura loves Naruto and both are aware of the other being as deeply in love with them as the other...

Now tell me, which one sounds like love. like a ship in full sail? Looks like Narusaku is the only one of those. Seriously, the only other ship that involves any of the main characters that has any evidence of mutual feelings is SasukexNaruto (and SasukexKarin) but Naruto is 100% het, so that ends that ship. Sasuke gives enough evidence to being bisexual with more inclination toward being gay (Karin is the only female he has ever shown the least attraction to--not that that worked out well for her!), and his love/hate feelings for Naruto definitely has romantic overtones- something Kishimoto even visually played out on one manga volume cover that looked like a shonen-ai cover with Sasuke thinking of Naruto with a sort of wistful/longing look on his face.

Isn't Narusaku TECHNICALLY one sided?
And the foreshadowing is on point, but what if were reading to much into it? And naruto just happened to save Sakura in a similar fashion.

Although Personally I do feel like all the foreshadowing has to lead to Narusaku, I mean c'mon Kushina hair is PINK...if I'm wrong I too would seriously reconsider literature and everything I thought I knew about it.

srr, I don't see how NaruSaku is one sided. Naruto is over his crush and not that pathetic about it like Hinata is.
And Naruto means a whole lot to Sakura, she's just not entirely sure she genuinly loves him yet (I think).

And Kushina's hair is RED... The bloody habanero or smthng nickname was based on her hair.

Oh so I guess the hair isn't foreshadowing that's puts a downer on things.

How would u feel is Sakura started to feel things for naruto,but naruto becomes either only focused only on Sasuke ( like he isnt alrdry, but I mean really focused on Sasuke) and or he falls for someone else? How would we feel? I mean he is the main character so he shud get the girl he wants.

Haha I can see this , but I would only want this if it ends up bein Narusaku.

The difference is, if SS and NH is canon, it would be expected. Surely there would be a more special feeling if the fans of a less popular pairing (NS) found out that theirs is canon, since for years they are overwhelmed by the sheer popularity of the other pairings and perceived to be unlikely (not crack unlikely though )

I find it insane how were the party with the least support (numbers wise), I hope Kishi doesn't t make his choice based on sheer numbers.
If anything I would think we are the typical group, but I guess not

Which is kinda strange because usually the most popular pairing in a series is MainCharacterXHeroine.

Edit: And HeroineXSideKick too. So going by that I initially expected that the most popular pairings in Naruto are NS and SS. Could be wrong though.

My personal advice to you is, after chapters like 540, DO NOT venture into other shipping threads. From the very beginning, NHers and SSers have been calling themselves canon. Obviously this is false, since the series hasn't ended yet. You're gonna give yourself a headache reading ignorant comments like that.
Besides, the panel everyone's worried about was not a stand-alone panel. It served no purpose other than to show Sakura's previously established feelings for Sasuke. It seems very obvious to me that Sakura's feelings will be resolved sooner or later, using the love-letter ninja as a catalyst. Previous development and evidence is on our side, so the most likely scenario is that she will finally confront her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto and realize Naruto is the one she truly loves.
So in the meantime, sit back, relax, and watch how this all plays out. If we lose, big deal, it just proves that Kishi doesn't know a thing about writing romance. But in the likely event that we win, I highly recommend going on those other threads and yelling, "CANON" for all the fools to hear.

Maybe it's going to take Sakura to kiss sasuke to realize that she doesn't love him, if Sasuke let's her get that close.
I would hate for that to happen through, the only lips she should kissing are Naruto's.
