As long as there's backwards compatibility to the PS3 and it's under 700 bucks, I'm fine with whatever they do to the PS4... unless those rumors of locking out Used Games is true....

Although, I don't understand the limits thing that you talked about.... Graphics-wise? I dunno, graphics never really bothered me when playing games.

Don't count on it. I know the PS4 will be 800 to a 1000$ and one game will be over 60$ (maybe reaching 80$).

It won't and can't be that ridiculous, because Sony would lose customers as well as respect. Games on the other hand, industry reports are saying it'll stay the same. $60 a game.

Yeah, I'm a huge AC fan I got 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations and 3 the day of release, I even got the expensive collectors editions for each game and even I just don't care much for another one which I honestly thought I'd never say.

I loved AC I, II, and Brotherhood.

Revelations I didn't finish.

III was a waste of my money and time.

Now this new one? Nah. AC has died for me. Time to move on to a new series.

Anyone heard/played/watched Ni no Kuni? c8 (PS3 version I speak of)

The art/style was done by Studio Ghilbi. I wish this were another one of their movies. The story is just so awesome/touching/SAD sometimes. And of course, can't go talking about Studio Ghilbi without the awesome soundtrack.

AC:Pirates is an interesting concept. I guess naval battles will be expanded upon. Maybe it could be fun. However, the core gameplay has worn out its welcome. Brotherhood was it for me, I kind of just raced through Revelations and 3.

Former art director of "thatgamecompany" known for success Indie titles Flower and Journey has left the company to form new game studio "Giant Squid". hopefully we'll see some good indie titles pumping out with more competition on the next gen consoles.

*speaking of Ni no Kuni*

Oliver's love for his mother is just so touching. It was so heart breaking to see her go -not a spoiler since this happens at the very very beginning of the game- Ah, all the feels with those two. -man, I really am a sucker for family related stuff. - I want to draw a fanart so bad, but I don't have the time for it just yet.

Seriously, I wish this were one of their normal films. At the same time I don't, I don't think they would have been able to put so much detail into the story if it were a regular old movie. But Ni no Kuni has to be my 3rd favorite Studio Ghilbi creation. First is Spirited Away, then Howl's Moving Castle, and Ni no Kuni is a definite 3rd.

So about...$500 worth of games. In the next 6 months.
After that, I'll wait to get the PS4.
