Highly unlikely, he didn't die at the main storyline, why kill him in the spinoff specially when he is "redeemed" and supposedly not wrecking up things?

When you look at it from a  bigger picture Naruto is a great series from the beginning up to The Pain Arc. Everything else that comes afterwards gets really really questionable because it slowly but surely starts to decline in the quality of storytelling. Yeah there's the whole child of prophecy thing, but that didn't bug me as much as um well let's say the whole reincarnation of Ashura bullsh** cause that was clearly unplanned.

 

 

So basically that would mean Naruto from Volumes 1-48 (up to first 8 pages of 450) can easily be considered as the best. The reason why I say that is because Volumes 49-72 even though I like the whole Obito subplot it feels like filler in manga.  

 

Agreed. Mr Plinkett would have told to cut to the credits at the end of the pain arc. I mean the hero literally goes through his arc and gets the girl as icing on the cake. There is no more story to be told because it literally reached its highest point. With this kind of series for Young people you end on the highest note.

 

The problem is that Sasuke's literally became the epicenter of the plot and the main characters to the point of absurdity due to Kishi's favoristism. Naruto and sakura literally went on character regression cause of him.

 

After pain, you could tell that Kishi was tired:

 

-The plot stopped making any sense

- The main characters went on character regression. Sasuke went from a mature teenager who accepted the loss of his to a whining kid wanting his family back alive... wtf. Big boss from MGS becomes a villain but still has some kind of dignity and becomes more complex. I suspect Kishi retconned Itachi's past to make his sauce into his big boss.

- Kishi stopped making any covers with individual characters

- The art became terrible (the females became unrecognizable) and some of the panels are not even finished. His drawing clearly showed disinterest and tiredness.

- Hinata suddenly becoing more important proved that he was letting sp and his editors writing the plot.
