It may be the Hyuuga way to cave into destiny, it's not mine! If you think it's futile to fight then don't! Just stand there and take it!

Shaman king do that, minus the affair theory.I was scary for that, I know in shonen won't do that. It is more possible in a Shoujo.

I'll be honest... while I remain depressed, I've come to terms that NaruSaku is canon without being canon

Sigh in the end I guess we will never know what's under Kakashi's mask...

I think this sums up these chapters the best way possible
So true! Squidward's words fit our situation perfectly at this moment. It is also comedic, too, which is always a plus, especially when we are all sad. Kishi would be Patrick saying "you're welcome" at the end.

The thing is is that all the arguments excusing Kishi make no sense to begin with; he had plenty of time to set up the beginning of the arc later, it doesn't have to start right now. Even when Naruto was just beginning, needing sales to stay alive, Kishi took his sweet time despite demanding circumstances. Now Naruto sells billions just by sneezing, and we're assuming that some ass-hat editor is "forcing" the creator, the owner of Naruto to do what they want? To work on a tight-schedule, to half-ass the end of an arc when in fact Kishi is notorious for sliding arc-endings in and out slowly and carefully? There are only three options:
1) Kishimoto is sick, or otherwise dying, and wants to end his legacy as soon as possible with what time he has left.2) This is a creative plot whereas Naruto and Sasuke share conscious dreams of what could be, what they don't want to be, and what they will fight to prevent from happening. Naruto doesn't want to be a bad father or marry a woman he doesn't know, and Sasuke doesn't want to be like his own father or those who have come before him.
3) Kishimoto is no longer in control of his work as he was before, whether it is being pushed up for no apparent reason or he is just belligerently tired of writing and drawing for Naruto. He is either directly or indirectly sabotaging his work for any other reason.
You know what? I'm also gonna volunteer, especially for the theory #2 which doesn't sound that likely, but so kittening what? After reading this nonsense called an ''ending'', nothing will surprise me at this point. Will I be disappointed if it turns out false? of course. but it will be nothing compared to this kittenery.

OMG! THIS! YES! THANK YOU! Somehow I feel like Spongebob can sum up anything and everything in life. And by Spongebob I mean, before the movie...I don't know what happened to that series after the movie. It just sort of...idek. LOL. But yes, thank you for posting this. I thought you were going to post the whole.
The Hopes and Dreams could work... but I just image Patrick as Kishimoto while the people Squirdward is taking about is the entire staff

I know it seems pointless right now guys and pretty much what I'm doing right now screams "denial", but I'm going to follow my gut on this one. I'm going to believe in myself. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I know what to expect. It's painful yes, but I'm a glass half full kinda guy tbh.

How did you ninja me to this lol

Naruto knows instinctively that believing in yourself can give you the power to change your destiny.
Guys, I'm not going to give up. "So don't go whining to me about this destiny stuff and stop trying to tell me you can't change what you are. You can do it too, because after all, unlike me you're not a failure"
I love this battle music.

He's mine, don't touch.

Okay, the one thing that REALLY doesn't make sense to me is why they have whiskers. Why? What kind of genetic change did the Kyuubei make that will cause whiskers to be inherited?
My headcanon is that Bolt is Naruto's kid, but Hinata's daughter is NOT and all the kids of the village like to draw Naruto's whiskers on their faces because the Hokage is a cool guy.
*vigorous nodding*
Read my stuff! Some of the stories are even finished! Catwho on Fanfiction.net

Genjutsu pls. The kids help the older people break out of it, but in the process they disappear. Feels all round. Naruto is saved.

I will never give up, this has been the year of comebacks, nintendo was thought to be dead and what happened? the true power of nintendo rose in hype train form, Road to ninja made us believe it was over and look what happened? I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS, I WON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

All those volunteering to read the mini series...
You are strong.

The message that this story should have told, never give up!
It's that message that's resonated in me for years. This could all be true and not something more sinister on SJs part. I hated when Sasuke was OOC and I hated it when Sakura was OOC. To give up would be OOC for me.
The story I choose to believe in, is the one I want to have faith in.

I don't really see the happy ending in this "canon" ending... Sasuke's off doing random kitten and Naruto's dream of Hokage apparently meant actual work instead changing the world.
