I've burried myself in the texts about confessions ("kokuhaku") in the Japanese culture. It seems that "thank you" is a polite way to reject a person. So... there is a possibilty that Sasuke simply rejected Sakura in the fisrt part. "Thank you" = "I'm sorry. I can't accept, but it was a nice gesture". Lol.

 

According to Japanese romantic conventions, when Sakura confessed to Naruto, it was not only a declaration of feelings, but also an offer to start a serious relationship. =_=

 

And apparently, hugging in public (Japan) equals kissing (in the West). Interesting... she had hugged him twice already. Sakura must have experienced really strong emotions at those times, because a hug is a private thing that is not to be displayed in the presence of others.

Well right now he's focused on trying to beat Sasuke so he can bring him back to the village but they have to undo the IT after the fight meaning Sasuke will probably have to come to his senses and realize its not worth it. As for Sakura she's gonna have to wake up and smell the coffee and realize that her precious Sasuke-Kun doesn't want her if she a image of Naruto dying in front of her during the genjustu she better react and punch Sasuke in the face but also we could be getting closer to the bench scene where Sakura will realize the truth.

Regarding the bench scene, I don't think an actual flashback to that one moment would be completely justified, as it'd make Sakura seem rather shallow in that regard. (liking a guy just because they said they liked her forehead). That being said, I could easily see Naruto saying the same words to her (Forehead's so wide and charming, makes me want to kiss it) without the full-on flashback for a similar effect. Maybe once the battle's all said and done, if it happens exactly like the OVA did - with Sakura crying over Naruto thinking he's dead, the first words out of Naruto's mouth could be those words. That way the bench scene revelation would be "dealt" with, (though personally I feel it was already a moot point - what with the Naruto's Sasuke henge having already said "That sounds like something Naruto would say) and Sakura's happiness would be at Naruto being alive, moreso than something along the lines of "oh, he's the one who loved my forehead all along so now I want to make babies with him"

If that happens she would be like Naruto that was you!? Then I would feel like NS has been confirmed but we also have to deal with Hinata and her confession to Naruto Idk how Naruto will talk to her telling her that he loves someone else or something I wonder how she would react?

The problem is that Sasuke will never want such kind of a relationship with Sakura. And I'm pretty sure the same applies to Sakura's plans. Don't pay attention to SS. Their "logic" is not worth it.

That 'right now' simply means- It used to be her wish in the past but is no longer her wish anymore.

"Right now" creates a cotrast between Sakura's message and her attitude in the past. Kakashi implies that Sakura used to want Sasuke for herself, but now it's not like that. What's so hard to understand?
