It's not even qualified to be love, in my opinion, and it may be harsh, but you can't really love somebody that you have no understanding of or that you don't truly know. That is a superficial kind of love that both her, ino and Hinata have in common. And it's kind of sickening to be beaten over the head with it time in and time out.
The superficial type of love that she has for Sasuke is incredibly different than bond that she shares with Naruto, which is why I will never be convinced that Naruto is a second choice, because there was never a first for Sakura. Sakura knows Naruto on a much deeper level, and puts his feelings and well being and happiness above her own, something Naruto reciprocates.
Exactly. Sakura's care for Sasuke really is true - but romantic love just doesn't fit, because she still doesn't understand him, she was never close with him, and that's why their bond is just... nothing. It's only Sakura to Sasuke. And the few times Sasuke cared for Sakura, was out of slight comradeship. It's just the worst possible foundation for a relationship.
Which is why I don't honestly believe Sakura wants to be in a romantic relationship with him. She knows how he feels, and she knows that he's far away, but she continues unconditionally loving him, for the sake of loving him.
But that's just Sakura. I also don't believe all of Sakura's development is shattered. In fact I feel like it shows that she's an even more incredibly strong girl. Not just physically. The whole reason why I love NaruSaku, is their bond. I'm just hoping Naruto doesn't ever give up - no matter how much pain he goes through for it as well.
Naruto and Sakura. The strongest ever to survive through all that love, and rivalry, and getting picked on... And in the end I just know, that they'll be stronger than ever, louder than ever, and just so similar, and comfortable.. When are they gonna get married!? ...Soon, soon...

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

lol, love is different for everyone. I believe once you truly love someone that will last for life. True love grows stronger over time it shouldn't decrease because then it wasn't true. I truly love one girl for 7 years(the girl in my profile picture) and my love for her grows and changes and matures. I'll always love her no matter what and she's who I want to be with. But like I said love is different for everyone, but to me if you're able to keep falling in love and out of love and all that bullsh** then that means to me that it ain't true and it's most likely a conditional love. True love is supposed to be unconditonal and it lasts for life. God got that special person for everyone, that person you will love for life.
This year I turned 18 and it's really time to man myself up. I'm still looking for the love of my life and I'm not giving up. I will hate myself if I end up alone.

I'm considering giving up 2d.
One does not simply give up the 2d.

That is only canon in the Broadway version. there were similar ideas in early production for the movie, of course in early production the movie was supposed to be about a war between Lions and Baboons too.

Sure, but Naruto's insecure about Sakura. Sakura loving Sasuke over him has been beaten into his brain so hard it's probably nearly steel by now. And Sakura did not help matters at all by 693.
It just would take a lot. I don't think Naruto is the type of person to be with Sakura if she still loves Sasuke. He hates doubting or feeling like second. Land of Iron showed that.
Sakura needs to do something big. IMO Naruto is all or nothing in love: it's either Sakura loves him and only him or no relationship at all.
Naruto's gonna be confessing at some point. But I think after his confession, he's gonna assure Sakura that it's okay for Sakura not to love him back, and that he knows she loves Sasuke a lot, and blah blah blah... I'm not sure how Sakura will react. She might have mixed feelings. But I think that's the moment where we confirm Sakura's feelings once and for all.
If she says she loves Sasuke at that point... that would just be messed up. Sakura knows Naruto loves her, and she knows all the pain that she's caused him, and all the pain Sasuke's caused him. If something like that happened it would completely hurt Sakura's character when it comes to caring about people. And I think it's clear that Naruto is extremely dear to her. It would be even worse than this chapter - especially when it was clear Sakura had good intentions in her confession. It would be out of character, if this happened, to say the least.
But I don't expect Sakura to say she loves Naruto back. That would also be messed up, for many reasons.
What I expect from Sakura, is for her to say that she doesn't love Sasuke anymore. After everything that's happened in this show, that's the one love that was bound to end throughout the whole show. It started horrendously, and from what we could see, it continued to get worse. I have a strong feeling that her love for Sasuke is gonna end. Really soon.
And once it does... I'm gonna have one hell of a party.

It was also in the deleted scenes with the blu-ray if i'm not mistaken.

Ah, young people are always so hasty! ) They want to have it all before they turn twenty. ))) Sometimes it takes more time to find the right person.

I would agree with you, but I can't. Honestly sometimes I feel like I went for it too fast. Lol and when you posted this, it made you seem 50 years old.
Hey, I'm still in my prime... It's just I used to be eighteen (so long ago... it seems), and it makes me smile. I was so full of hopes then.
It doesn't matter when you go for it as long as you don't regret it.
By the way, I know about some people in their fifties who follow Naruto.

Anyone else think the upcoming fight is gonna be some talking, some small (and big) skirmishes, a little more talking, some quick taijutsu, then back to basics with a good ol' Rasengan vs. Chidori?

Well, they have to competely drain each other to end up in the "rasengan vs. chidori" lock.

Well, they have to completely drain each other to end up in the "rasengan vs. chidori" lock.
That's true, but that's what all the prior fighting is for right? In the end they'll leap at each other. Naruto in his Chakra Cloak and Sasuke in burning Susanoo bones, and their Chidori and Rasengan shall create the super sphere. Then Naruto will punch Sasuke and Sasuke will punch Naruto, and they'll both lose. Or Sasuke will lose. Or Naruto will lose. Neither of them will die though. This ends with Sasuke getting TnJ'd or becoming a hermit.

I never said this about a fictional character before but I so would have preferred it if Sasuke ended up fading into the background somewhere and Naruto just continued making rivals with other people...the only other person was Gaara and quite honestly I would so prefer it if he was the yin to Naruto's yang it actually makes alot more sense since they actually parallel with each other.
They don't necessarily have to be drained they could just make it a giant clash with chidori and rasengan in their bijuu and susanoo forms.
