I found the translation to scene in which Naruto was defending Hinata back then in the academy... Weird, if this translation is correct, Naruto never used the Kagebunshin No Jutsu...

3 Months after entering the Academy, Hyuuga Hinata was picked on by three boys in a grove of mixed trees
Boy : If you’re from the Hyuuga clan, try your Byakugan !
Boy 2 : Thoses eyes of yours are gross.
Boy 3 : You’re a monster, a white eyed monster !
Naruto : Hey ! Leave this girl alone !
Boys : Who are you ?
Naruto : I am Uzumaki Naruto ! The future Hokage !
The three guys gang up on Naruto and beat him up.
Boys : The future Hokage ? You’re so weak !
The three boys takes Naruto’s red scard and rip it.
The young boy stood up again.
Naruto : I’m not finished. I’ll show you an amazing jutsu now !
But he faints in agony.
Hinata : Are you all right ?
Naruto : I’m fine, it’s nothing.
Hinata : Your scarf … They ripped it.
Naruto : Meh, I don’t want it anymore anyway.
Hinata : I’m really sorry, if you want mine …
Hinata removed her own scarf and offers it to the young boy.
Naruto : Don’t worry too much about it. See ya.
Hinata : Thank you for everything ! as she bowed thankfully.
Naruto : No, really. It’s fine. said the young boy as he was leaving.
The young boy was weak, but he stood up to thoses three boys to protect someone he doesn’t even know.
Hinata picked up the young boy’s torned up red scarf as a memento of him.
Is this translation correct? The bolded part implies that he never even used the Shadowclone Jutsu unlike in the movie.
Three months after joining the academy Hinata is able to talk so freely with Naruto..? What the heck. Its so obvious that the ones responsible for this story haven't even bothered to study the characters and the manga !
Hinata was supposed to be shy to such a degree that she couldn't even say '' Hi Naruto '' without stuttering and getting flustered. Any attempt by Naruto to talk with her and she would faint instantly.
This is what Naruto thinks about Hinata when introduction is being given to all the rookies in the Chuunin exams - ' Hinata Hyuuga- She's okay but I don't know why she gets all shy and embarrassed every time I even like look at her. Its kind of weird '.
The very first time that Hinata manages to get enough courage to actually have a two-line conversation with Naruto is AFTER he beats Kiba in the Chuunin exam preliminaries. That's canon fact but now we are supposed to accept that Hinata was bold enough to have this level of conversation just three months after joining the academy..?
'This movie is a canon movie ! ' -- Yeah, Sorry if I find it impossible to accept that. This plot with its non-canon flashbacks, filler villain, non-canon asspull powers, obscene romantic scenes is about as far away from canon as it can get.
Even if I ignore the plot, I cannot accept this version of Naruto as the real Naruto Uzumaki. He's not the only one, almost everyone is OOC. All that we have come to know of the characters'-- be it their personality, their attitudes or the values they represent-- its all forgotten and changed to suit NH fantasies.
It should be an embarrassment to Kishimoto, his clueless assistants, SP and everyone associated with the production of 'Naruto-The Last' that 'Road to Ninja' , a supposed Au movie, was more canon than this joke of a movie.
