Thats just one organization, Medicare loses about 60 billion to fraud alone every year and they recover about 4 billion from cases of fraud.

Look at the numbers of how much we actually hemorrhage each year is enough to make a person violently ill-- and afterwards, very, very, very angry. 

To put it in perspective,we're about 18 trillion in debt, and they keep wanting to add more to it A certain presidential candidate's free stuff plan would add another 18 trillion worth of debt on top of that, so it'd be 36 trillion by then--if they had free run of the purse strings which they wouldn't get. ( or so we hope. I mean with the executive action spam that's been going on, who knows anymore.)

Given the situation its no wonder people are gravitating towards the more extreme people running for president. Whether its Trump on the "right" or Sanders on the left...

WTF are they doing !? That's just stupid . Of course people will be angry and what not, I don't want to even imagine what would have happened if such fraud of massive proportion happened in my place, the government would have probably be in flames and people's head would be put on a stick  . I mean that's not to say that there isn't such frauds by gov organizations,companies, institutions etc, but to do it to that level that you describe you wither have to be stupid as fuk or have giant "cojones". Another thing is that while we do have these frauds they're very small and unnoticeable bc while they do that they also build,make investments do many projects to the people's needs (mostly) so they don't notice it and even if they did they let it go bc they have their benefit so everyone wins, and I have to say that this is a smart way to do it lol .    

 

Well yeah bc sometimes (if not most of the time) extreme does the work heck just look at Greece and what happened there bc of the same kitten. You can say you're lucky in some way bc you're US which is one of the top leading forces and large countries so the government manages to bail out somehow but I don't think such a debt can be nullified or forgiven by the ones they own to  .

On the plus side the parents are thinking of moving off to Ireland, so I'll probably spend the summer ping ponging between London, Dublin and the Irish Countryside. This makes me absurdly happy.

 And even when government officials are brought up on charges, they some how escape justice. Just look at Hillary Clinton. The woman is guilty of (at the least) not handling classified information appropriately, which carries jail time, yet she has not been charged and is running for president, plus all the other ethically questionable stuff she has been involved in over the years...Or the IRS who was found to have scrutinized right leaning organizations harder then any others--but they got away with it too



The U.S could very well become like Greece if they are not careful about their debts and spending...

 Smaller government is the #1 way to shrink the deficit, not a bigger one...

True enough,  though its usually or mostly the frauds are committed by the ones who are in power that means government and the people very close to it bc they have all the protection they need until the government seat changes lol. 

 

Heh! This seems so familiar you should watch our news , its like our Opposition leader Zoran Zaev  he got abolished from jail from the president bc he was hiding his affairs along with his own accused of espionage and massive corruption all the evidence is in our face and yet he still can't be charged bc he creates chaos in the country with his political party (the opposition ) and bc of outside forces ​. I think if its anything that we all have learned is that politicians are always above the law  .

 

I know was I saying or implying that !? . What I meant is that the bigger or more powerful the country is if it's in kitten load of debt to the way of bankruptcy it will either get great amount of help or they can even cut it in half depending on how it suits its allies  .
