Sure, but Naruto's insecure about Sakura. Sakura loving Sasuke over him has been beaten into his brain so hard it's probably nearly steel by now. And Sakura did not help matters at all by 693.

It just would take a lot. I don't think Naruto is the type of person to be with Sakura if she still loves Sasuke. He hates doubting or feeling like second. Land of Iron showed that.

Sakura needs to do something big. IMO Naruto is all or nothing in love: it's either Sakura loves him and only him or no relationship at all.

So ... does anyone have any guesses on how Naruto will accept a love confession from Sakura now? His confidence on Sakura loving him over Sasuke right now had to go from 0.000005% to 0.000001% after 693.
 
I keep trying to find a realistic scenario for this and I keep coming up empty.

well there are a lot of ways . Like when sakura gets up kakashi advising her to find her true feelings or the sage . Or she goes straight to naruto and sasuke and sasuke tries to kill her as usual and naruto saves her when he gets hurt badly. And then he or she confesses to either one of em. Or as we saw the ova once that was a good one too

It seems to me that Sakura won't have to prove anything. She doesn't need to win him over, she has already done so (if you ask Naruto). The problem is with our lover boy. He thinks that winning Sakura's heart can't be an easy feat, so he has to kill the Dragon first (bring back Sasuke) and only then he'll become worthy enough to kiss the Princess. He's a white knight type... and it can be a real pain in the ass. Childhood issues, I guess. Every time he had to work hard to earn this and that. Sakura's love is his goal too. And he likes his goals impossible .

The state of despair is what convinced me to join.

I like Hinata and Sasuke and I don't like SK, and I do have my problems with the way Kishi depicts NS at time (mostly the fact it looks like they value sasuke above one another), so I wasn't too sure I could feel welcomed there. But the fact this fandom is able to question its OTP credibility is a strong selling point compared to NH and SS and their unwavering delusions. "I like it so it'll happen." Nice to see NS is able to not turn a blind eyes to  facts that are not in our favours.

 

I still believe NS is endgame. Minato and Kushina not so subtle support to it is very telling. Of course Kishi could still change his mind randomly (like if crazy NH fanboys kidnapped his cat ), but you won't convince me he at least hadn't had the NS end on his mind for the longest time.

 

Plus it's irritating how everyone and their moms believe SS and NH are canon, despite all the kitten Kishi has thrown at those ships. I needed to converse with people having the same reading of the story on this point.

Kakashi by method of exclusion. Probably. he'll remember the rooftop and previous VotE accidents too. But Sakura will be devastated when she wakes up. And after understanding that the boys are probably fighting to the end, she'll become a total wreck. Then Kakashi will mention Naruto's POAL...

Exactly my thoughts, but as far as I have come to know kishi, Naruto will somehow magically forget that sakura confessed to sasuke and he will confess or accept the sudden appearance of love feelings of sakura.
I really liked how naruto rejected sakura in LOI, because he really deserves better than false confession or being a second guy. But in the end he will become a second guy Thanks to kishi's sh*tty romance handling.
