Living lavish you took the words right out of my mouth, If the picture did show Naruto then it would be all over and ur right. BUT that theory only works if kishi wants Narusaku. If he wants the others then this scene fits perfect. I'm thinking kishi wants Narusaku just cause he made this awesome hero and why wouldn't he pair him with the girl of his dreams.

That being said I wanted to mention that at face value without reading into it or pulling outside sources....Sakura's confession was fake,Sakura went to kill sasuke cause she loved him and didnt want him going deeper in to darkness, and now when asked about who she loves a picture of sasuke comes up.

its confirmed BY kishimoto that its was honest! Sai never said it was a lie and Sakura defended herself there PROOF for it in the manga. imo shes confused but has romantic feelings for him not in love exactly. she wouldn't done anything had she not known Naruto loved her! she went to kill Sasuke to save him yes, but she went there to protect Naruto and make him hate her. all of it was to benefit him somewhat not Sasuke, not herself.. but Naruto.

yes she loves sasuke but that dosn't mean she doesn't have these feelings for Naruto. end of.

Sakura is the only person of the unrequited sides of the relationships (Naruto ->Sakura, Hinata->Naruto, and Sakura->Sasuke) that has shown any, let alone multiple, signs of having romantic feelings for the requited side of the relationship.

to everyone who thinks this one picture sinks our pairing. i suggest you take a twinkie, go to the docks and throw it at the side of a Navy ship.
Thats about as much effect as this picture will have on NaruSaku as a pariring.

the bench scene brings everything together. once she finds out that was Naruto she will realize he is her soulmate.. she confessed have a hugh moment where Naruto almost dies their will be flashbacks how they met etc.... she will talk to Naruto about there feelings and mention it, he will think back to Kushina's love story and what she said about ''finding a girl like her'' and realize this is true love. Sakura won't confused anymore and finally understand her feelings.

kIhsi has to resolve this and he hinted he will in the future.

i see this happening after MinaKushi and NaruSaku parallel.

Unless you look at the picture upside down, Sakura isn't smiling when thinking of Sasuke, of coarse why she's thinking of him after he tried to kill her twice in one chapter is beyond me. But my theory shall remain that Kishi just wanted to test if he could still draw Sasuke as the dude hasn't been seen for quite sometime...

kishi show us Naruto understands her more then anybody and does this consistenly in the manga for her to know this will happen will be the end game.

Sakura gone back to moments at that bench during sasuke confession. Kishi has since shown panels since. and its not a joke its romantic fantasy she dreamed of and Naruto said it. she also said he was looking into her heart..thats romantic scene. Naruto asked Sakura about how she felt about him too. the moment that people remembered after the MinaKushi scenes.

Naruto running off after get getting sick was a joke tho.

if you haven;t noticed the manga is called NARUTO! not hinata or sasuke. this hes story he has to get the girl to surpass his teacher and last generation this has been forshadowing for years.

anyway seriously man chill out lol

I'm gonna agree with you Lavish, with this manga and Kishi as it's writer, anything can happen. I'll stick to believing that it will be mentioned again until the very end

But just to keep playing devils advocate its agrueable that everything so far between Naruto and Sakura was just friendship i.e. the hug, but when it came down to who she loved it was sasuke.

Btw I think this back and forth is pretty cool keeps things interesting imo, its been pretty dull lately although this isnt the way I would choose for the thread to become more active, am I right or am I right?

I think once again people over analyze small moments like what we saw today before seeing the actual manga. Sakura is still growing up and is very confused about how she feels toward many things. Her relationship to Naruto being no exception. Just give her time. Naruto I have no doubt will come through on his end. The first priority is to fight the war and as in most stories such as this the love fully develops after the war. But hey some small moments are welcome.

By the way I just joined the forums for the first time after being an avid reader and fellow individual interested in Narusaku.

sorry but it can not be argued as friendship thats one of the oldest arguements ever!! and gets destroyed everytime. Sakura has been shown to attracted to naruto, asked him how she looked, blushed around plenty of times, tryed to feed him and open hug (two moments witch are considered romantic in japaneses culture) was upset when she found out Hinata loves Naruto.

has her own special loving smile only for him (freind dosn't look at another friend like that)

Sakura has shown through her actions thats not the case.
