True but intensity is also something to consider. Plus men have to deal with pitch adjustment as well, possibly for extended periods of time. If James Earl Jones got conked in the coconuts one good time, theres a possibility he'd be speaking like Michael Jackson for a week afterwards. So public humiliation is a negative as well.

The mechanisms are complicated. Actually women are built to endure long and strong pain (childbirth & dysmenorrhea). On average, we have a higher pain threshold than men. So subjectively the pain a female can handle may be unbearable to a male. Although, some researches suggest otherwise (that men are more tough). And during childbirth endorphines are working their magic too.

I've already watched that video, it actually gives them a tie in the aspect of how painful it is, but it doesn't consider how long that pain lasts, only the previous contributors for it, in the childbirth case. And as Syn11 said, endorphin helps a lot, imagine those women who have hormonal problems and can't produce much... Ouch.

Well public humiliation can be considered only as psychological pain, right? When someone squeeze you guys' balls for 8 hours (average duration), I'll admit you'll feel much more pain...
