NS people are so insecure.

 

My early ship experience was Seiya/Usagi. It's not canon if you wonder. As a little girl I really wanted them to be a couple. But... Mamoru came back. You know what, I don't give a damn. I still ship those two.

My second serious ship turned to be Suzaku/Euphemia from Code Geass.The girl tragically died (after being made into a mass murderer) at the end of the first season. But the heroine's sad fortune never led me astray.

The third ship was Gin/Rangiku from Bleach. A lot of you probably know how it ended... in canon. And I had to wait for several years (long-long years of suspense) to find out the dénouement of their theme. 

I'm not going to give up on shipping Naruto and Sakura! No, sir! It is the most promising couple I've ever shipped in the first place! Even if Kishimoto decides against NS... I won't stop. That's my shipper way! Believe it!

By the way I think insecurity NS fandom is based on that we have to deal with all kinds of hate every day, the added hatred NH, SS and SN fans all over the West, dealing with the stress of the manga and cope up with the pessimism of our NS friends ...

Mhm, I do think so.

But even if we don't, NS makes enough sense that it should be canon. And therefore I will go on shipping it no matter what happens. 

 

Pairing wars make everything confusing...at least, to me. I mean, you could talk to 12 people and get 12 different opinions, that kinda messes with your confidence a bit. Especially when a lot of people just end up twisting things from the manga to somehow fit their preferences, and then you overthink and question if you may be doing that, and--

I'm still pretty confident that NS will be canon, though. It just makes the most sense.

Naruto and Sakura are so close and true... I can't even imagine them parting ways or letting each other die.

I can't imagine Sasuke punching a female in the throat with full force. I mean, we all know he's gay but he wouldn't go that extent. Or would he O_o

 

I don't really see Sasuke as a girl abuser... He doesn't care much for them, but for a lot of Part 1 he had a tendency to save girls xD Which is why I don't technically see Sasuke saving Sakura as SasuSaku lol

I have a friend who always, I say always picks the wrong couple. When there's a love triangle, she always goes for the couple that doesn't end up together. Fortunately she is a NH shipper.

not really. It got tons of other ways for Kishi to pull off NS after this despicable display of 693 and still make it believable.

Seriously, What an asspull of a chapter. SS fans are losing their minds and NH fans are probably salivating and waiting to rip into all the NS fans out here. I'm just disappointed to see Kishi take that route. No anger, no sadness, Just disappointment. Feels like he went into troll overdrive.I understand the need for avoiding the resolution of the romance plot but the step that he took in 693 was like one of the dumbest route he could have taken.

I don't think the pairings will be solved in the manga as of now. I have a feeling Kishi will take care of everything in the movie.

I agree that NS still stands strong but the greatest threat to NS are Naruto and Sakura themselves.

 

Naruto's obsession with the idea that Sakura will never let go of Sasuke and Sakura proving him right everytime Sasuke comes into the equation. If they can get over their petty doubts and insecurities, NS could easily become canon.

I still believe NS is the most likely, mostly because of its getting Minato and Kushina's approval, and because it's the only one I can see actually working (but that's more subjective). However it's sad Kishi still feels like he has to drag his dramu to the very end, making all the wannabe canon pairings look bad because he wants to pander to everyone.

 

Still Narusaku is the less despicable one, IMO. SasuSaku and SasuKarin are just horrible, he doesn't deserve their love (and I say that as a Sasuke fan), NaruHina is less morally wrong but it still rubs me the wrong way (going suicidal for a dude who otherwise doesn't care much about you, not even in a friendly way is weird and unnatural and crazy and a bit pathetic, and I say that as someone who likes Hinata a lot). NaruSasu is bad too, as I can't empathise with Naruto on that matter. To me back in part one Shika, Kiba and Chouji looked more like friends to Naruto than Sasuke ever did...

 

Kishi should just have been more straightforward. By trying to keep things seemingly ambiguous, he just makes thing bad and damage his characters.

 

That said 693 didn't surprize me, as Sakura hadn't shown any sign of giving up on her love for Sasuke. she has just been shown to be more and more fond of Naruto. Maybe it's a turning point to resolve that issue and kill SS for good.

 

Still you gotta love Sasuke's brutal honesty. He often voices my feel regarding this manga.
