Continuing the cyberpunk theme, here's the teaser trailer from CD Projekt Red's new project, Cyberpunk 2077.

The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member.

The Psycho Squad specializes in combating "psychos" -- individuals who overuse implants and substances that boost or otherwise alter the human body.

There comes a point when they overdose on these innovations, and their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people, who they now derisively call "meatbags."

When a psycho goes on the rampage, strange things can happen. There's carnage, and the psycho might be taken down by regular police, but they're not always able to get the job done.

When things spin out of control, they call in MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), popularly called the Psycho Squad.

No release date yet, CDPR say it'll be released when it's ready. For anyone who doesn't know, CDPR created the Witcher games, so you can look forward to real RPG pedigree.

I like how their release date is "When it's ready."


It reminds me a bit of Deus EX: Human Revolution, considering I recently just bought the game. Sarif'll be sad that Augs are going crazy.

I had my eye on this game a while back, I'm really glad they're bringing it outside Japan. It seems to have quite a cast!

I was originally on the fence about the voice acting, but I guess it's understandable that they're leaving it in Japanese. It's quite a roster, and fans of the individual series are probably going to be disappointed if they pick second-rate voice actors for the different characters. I don't think I'd mind too much as long as the text is translated.

While some characters, like the Street Fighter cast and Morrigan, does have English VA, I rather have their Japanese VAs. The rest of the characters however, such as Akira and Pai from Virtua Fighter, doesn't have any new VAs ever since the late 90s (anime). Hell, some didn't have any at all. And to get new ones now, certain American VAs might screw up of not having the character "sound right" to the audiences.

And I'm not too keen of having Ryu (Kyle Herbert) or Chun-Li (Laura Bailey) in this game, because they don't capture the character correctly.

The Vita's touchpad tech huh? It;ll work fine though. I question whether they will actually utilize it enough in their games. It'll work nice with the UI most likely




Updating the status on the first next gen console, gamasutra find out the WiiU ...only sold 55k Units in North America this January. A decline of 38% compared to the Wii's first 3 months. The PS3 at $600 never sold that low.





I have owned the deluxe version since launch...and its usage is similar to how I was with the Wii. I play it once in a while. Lack of third party games once again. They need to rush those first part games out soon, I need something to play.

Too bad the Wii disappointed me so much that I don't even care to get a Wii U, just the first party titles alone aren't enough to get me to buy one and 3rd party games can be bought on my Xbox or PS3.... so it seems pointless. Unless it has a massive price drop in the upcoming years, then I might nab one.

I'm really looking forward to the PS4... that PlayStation meeting is in 5 days.... my fingers are crossed.

I still think its too soon for the PS4 I can only see the platform been release by the end of the year (Decemeber or maybe January 2015). There are still too many games for the PS3 that are still been release and many more that are schedule to be release on spring summer, fall and even winter. Why bring a new platform when the previous one is still doing well and sales are decent enough? I know they have a competition with Microsoft (Nintendo is off the list since they pretty much screw up with the Wii U, the 3DS is the only thing that is keeping the company with a good reputation). Microsoft still hasn't given any confirmation for the new Xbox so that platform probably won't be release till next year.
