I believed Kishimoto had stated that he liked the DB series up to the Frieza saga. I hardly doubt he will pull a Bulma/Vegeta in this series (and we had seen how that turned out years ago).

Don't worry. He said he had been inspired, not that he is trying imitating him. And he has been inspired by way more shows than Dragon Ball.

Certainly, he is handling the romance theme in a fashion is completely different that Toriyama did. He created his main character's love interest from the start and showed why he was in love with her.

That's true. Already, Kishi has portrayed his manga differently. That's why I think it's pointless, and rather stupid, to compare two different works to prove your pairing. I'm not only accusing NH/SS, because some NS fans do it too. But especially when they compare Naruto to works such as DB or Harry Potter, both with horrible romantic plot-holes, thinking it makes NH a better or more canon pairing for it just because another famous series just so happened to take a random turn.

In Toriyama defense, he intended ending up the series in the Freezer Saga (I can't bring myself to call him "Frieza", I'm sorry). And then he intended the Cell Saga was the last plot arc. But their editors kept on pushing him to draw more, and the quality dropped.

Naruto's very popular, too... I really hope that doesn't happen. But this,

I don't know if it is true, but I heard Toriyama paired up Bulma and Vegeta thinking it would piss the fans off and they would drop the series (it didn't work). Kishimoto has no reason to make that. Moreover, NH fans have irritated him.

He did say in the JF Interview that the NH fans kept sending him letters and he got annoyed with their Sakura-bashing and Hinata-worshipping... If he were to piss anyone off, it would be the NH fandom

Edit: Oh, and I really advice ignoring the anti-NS club. It isn''t worth.

It really isn't. You'll only be bombarded by skewed opinions and hate and just get angrier yourself. I used to stop by the NH forums, just to see what they were saying... I didn't like it.

To be fair, it was okay, if a NH fan will dislike it, give a comment, but accusing will absolutely not be tolerated with.
I tried to reason out too, but i too was accused also as a troll. (talked about the angst, and the repeated cycle of madness like freedom of internet,trolling is always in the internet.)..
So the best scenario would be ignoring those, Anti NS.

I got negged because someone disagreed with something that was proven in the manga. Then that same person went and commented on my blog unecessarily. We got into a bit of a fight. (Though I wouldn't call it a fight, since they just called me names and told other NH fans what a troll I was.)

That's why I really don't like NF. I avoid it now, except of course when I go to the NaruSaku FC there, but that's about it.

Hi Guys, I got some new arguments came from a SS fan.
I will make it short so,
It involves:

1.Sasuke is not abusive.
2.Karin is only a tool for Sasuke.

If you sum it all up, they are going to say, SasuSaku is a healthy pairing, waiting for Sasuke to changed to be inlove with Sakura, and Karin, i think they are frustrated with the recent developments, they are arguing KARIN IS A TOOL FOR SASUKE, nothing else. They are likely to be paranoid with it:roll:

Karin pretty much is a tool for Sasuke. That being said, I don't really understand how SasuSaku is a positive pairing. Sasuke is using people who care for him as tools for his revenge.. Him becoming good wont magically make this go away.

Karin isnt a tool for sasuke because she wont let herself be one. Shes allreayd shown an independent streak and has more than once told him and suigetsu she doesnt need to be there. Shes also told sasuke off for his weakness or stupidity on more than one occasion.

and note a little something funny. When she calls sasuke weak or stupid. Sasuke rarely contradicts her. And has never gotten mad at her.

As to the healthiness of SasuSaku i often hear this little double standard argument. That with Sasuke Sakura would be the ultimate perfect little house wife. making babies and taking care fo the kiddos at home.

with Naruto shed be a useless house wife incapable of or too busy doing missions/working on the hospital to take care of the house.

^^ i don't Sakura would be a perfect house wife, being the strongest Kunoich ( or how ever it is spelt ) and probally the greatest Medical Shinobi in the series atm. She cant just be a baby factory lol

I think I finally am looking forward to the manga without so much worry when it comes to the romance. There is so much in the manga atm that I am actually finding myself to be very excited about its future in terms of action.

For those that worry about our pairing... this is kinda how I see it:

NH- Seems like a plausible pairing because of how Hinata always got nervous around Naruto and eventually confessed she loved him. However, I believe that Hinata didn't love Naruto really in a romantic way. I think she admired his spirit and his way of the ninja. He inspired her from afar, and like others have said before, I think she has played out her part in the manga. Not that she won't continue to have appearances.

SS- Another one-sided pairing with not much development. I might would see potential, even if its a tiny bit, but unfortunately for SS fans, Kishi introduced Karin. Karin I believe is the person who will end up with Sasuke. Kishi continues to make sure that Sasuke and Karin stay around each other, for certain reasons of course. Sakura and Sasuke don't seem possible because Sasuke looks at Sakura like a teammate, and now sees her as one of the people who benefited from his pain, therefore he plans to kill her, or at least I think he said that.

NS- Of course I believe this couple will happen. Kishi already showed that both love each other. Naruto had reasons he couldn't confess to Sakura, and Sakura did confess her love to Naruto. It was never said that it was a lie. Plus they have bunches of good ole development. FTW

SS being not a positive pairing, clearly portrays Sasuke is not being abusive and did not experienced any abuse at all. It is either Physical or Mental abuse. An SS fan once posted in the other forums her analysis of Sasuke abuse potential in the future in the situation, she will have a family, she stated that Sasuke is not abusive because he did not experience any of it besides Sasuke experienced Trauma.
For me, Abuse and Trauma are quite the same. its like the goals and the means. how can a person become an abuser? because of trauma?
I think because of the abuse also inflicted to his early life.
Either way, SS believed that Sasuke slapping the apples,knocking Sakura out after her confession is not a sign Sasuke being abusive. And what they call with that, "A sign of LOVE?"

Karin is not much of a new character

Not a tool, but a teammate. Nothing more.

I doubt Sasuke would be abusive. At the most, he would have a somewhat cold exterior.

Is unhealthy in all manner. Not because it gets in the way of NaruSaku, but its just really offputing. The idea of putting Sakura with someone she doesn't understand and whos crush was born out of fake images is disgusting =/

With how Sasuke has become and with Kishi saying that he will become more evil which it will be at the end of the fight against Danzou. Its very difficult to see him changing for the better so suddenly. With Sasuke's development in the entire manga its impossible to see S/S becoming canon most S/S fans envisioned Sakura's possible encounter with him that it will be romantic. That she will confessed her feelings for him (when she has already confessed to Naruto) and suddenly Sasuke will change and will tell her that he loves her and beat the crap put of Karin before leaving with her to Konoha and they will get marry and live happily ever after (some S/S fans think this will happen. )

I don't see it possible for S/S to happen Naruto will eventually sacrifice his own happiness as usual to see Sakura happy with Sasuke. But what about what Sakura wants does she really wants to be with Sasuke??? When you see the whole manga you can easily answer that question with a hell no. Sai said that Sakura wants to kill him because she loves him, however he wasn't being specific he could be referring as loving him as a friend or as a teammate but not as someone to love romantically. Let's not forget that we still have to hear from Sakura's perspective its not over until she says that she loves Sasuke. Then again she did said she loves Naruto. Also Sai doesn't know if Sakura's has romantic feelings for Sasuke since he didn't ask her if she loves Sasuke the same way he asked Naruto if he loves Sakura back at 457.

I will make it short so,
It involves:

1.Sasuke is not abusive.

Besides the fact that Sasuke is insane and violent, he is also very gullible. The moment someone suggests that his girlfriend/wife might like someone else, you know he would fly off the handle (without doing any research to see if it is accurate or not).

Sasuke would be emotionally abusive. His relationships fall into three categories, none of which would be healthy.
1) Neutral towards people who help him gain power. This applies to Kakashi, Team Hawk, and Orochimaru (up to their fight).
2) Condescending towards those he thinks of as weaker. Everyone in his peer group, basically. He would treat Sakura as an inferior, and continue to call her annoying. Anytime she would want help and a little support, Sasuke would be there to tell her that she is useless.
3) Anger/violence towards anyone who might rival him in power. This applies to Itachi and Naruto (part I before time skip).

We've already seen before with heroic characters, when the situation warrents it they can and do put those feelings away (love or deep emotional bonds) and fight the other person or in one case make a sure and deadly threat to:

Jiraiya to Tsunade- "If you go to Orochimaru, I will kill you" (That wasn't a joke, he was deadly serious, and remember he loved Tsunade as much as Naruto loves Sakura)

Chiyo made the choice to go with Konoha's team to end her grandson's life

Hiruzen was able to put his emotional bond to his favorite student Orochimaru behind him when Orochimaru threatened Konoha itself

Jiraiya and Tsunade made the choice to try to kill Orochimaru when they fought him

Jiraiya made the choice to try to kill Nagato despite him being his student and the bond he still felt for him because of that.
