Well at least they remained constant in one thing. Naruto was/is Sasuke's fanboy and now so is his son. And it will continue.

So True !!! The last of the Uzumaki is reduced to nothing but Sasuke wankers . Remind me again why this manga is still called Naruto instead of Sasuke & his wanking fangirl/boy club .

I don't think he's essential to the story line one bit. All that would have happened is the Naruto series would have taken a different direction, and I'm willing to bet the one without Sasuke would have easily been better than the one we got with him.

First of all you do realize the inconsistency , the retcon here with Hyuuga powers right !? Its not the problem that he has them but how he got them after it was said by Mr.Idiotmoto  that both of the kids don't have the Byuakugan !!! . He could have done it right by just thinking a bit about this issue but he's an illiterate moron !!! . There would have been no problem if the moron just gave the kids the Byuakugan from the very freaking beginning not pull it out of its ars like an Uchiha Asspull  and basically making it like the Shariningan  .

 

Now I see you guys are arguing about the Byakugan's/Hyuuga's abilities and all these theories about being possible doing it without it but here lies the problem with it also . Such things were never presented in the story , only with the Byakugan you can perform the Byakugan techniques that's why they wanted to steal it and this what was presented not any fan theories about being possible without it  and there's a big difference between the two . The way that the Byakugan's/Hyuuga's abilities was played in the Movie and the horrendous One Shot is nothing but Contrived Retconing Inconsistent BS , and  I'm sorry but I'm not gonna accept forced BS !!! Otherwise we all just might accept this freaking ending and call it a day sign . The funny thing is that this could have all been avoided and done right if Mr.Idiotmoto just gave them the freaking Byakugan from the very beginning ugh !!!  .

This is most major issue most fans keep missing. I see people argue over the petty things and ignoring the biggest issue of all that half the stuff in this movie should not exist in the first place. Bolt and Himawari can do things that not only never existed before, but some even Kishimoto "forgot about." The biggest is not why these things exist, but HOW these things exist when before they shouldn't have. Of course, this is the same man who kept changing the rules of Sharingan to better suit the story. (Remember the whole, "You have to kill the person you love to gain the mangekyo?" Sasuke kind of bypassed that rule.)

The biggest question I have is not "what the hell is Kishimoto doing?," but rather "Why the hell is the fandom eating this up?" Seriously, the Naruto fandom has basically become a baby they dangle keys in front of their face and they just laugh and clap their hands. Give a little fanservice and they throw money at it like no tomorrow.

I don't know who I am disappointed in more. I thought maybe people have a better sense of literature and actually a little intelligence to see garbage when you see it. Except for a few minority I know, the rest are easily amused by anything they can jerk off to. Even if behind the scenes it is disgusting, vile, and inhumane.

It's the kind of things that make me wonder whose side am I really fighting for?

Yeah, James, welcome to the club. I feel the same way, considering that I may not be as avid of a reader in literature as others, but I feel short changed BIG TIME by how the Naruto fandom will just accept anything at all right now, especially the more fringe elements who try to justify BS that's occurred due to their "canon" pity pairings. Especially when bad stuff happens to our former hero, like how the fringe NH fans have complimented Hima getting her Byakugan and yet forgetting... NARUTO DIDN'T EVEN GET TO BE AT HIS OWN INAUGURATION OF BECOMING HOKAGE!!!!

Too bad they didn't invent a jutsu to allow you to just teleport where ever you want to go or perhaps even fly in the air by way of summoning something......Yeup, too bad they don't have those abilities.

That reminds me....how come none of this technology existed until AFTER the war ended, not during? Were people so focused on war that they just stopped advancing technology?

In our history, wars have actually increased technological advancements. The technology and timeline in Naruto just doesn't make any sense and it's impossible for things to progress that quickly in just a couple of decades.

 

I still think that after Naruto and Sasuke are long gone, someone like Hitler is going to come to power and use this technology to start a new great war and all hell is going to break loose.

Well, now after Kaguya, Hagoromo, Hashirama, and many figures that people saw godliike were humanized, people were like "There is no more religion" and just focused on technology abandoning principles.

Either that or they got really really bored after the "world peace" and all the sex and baby making. Everyone does look really bored and miserable.Except for Rock Lee who kept to his roots.

It makes things worse each and every time you see a character further in the story say "Sasuke killed Itachi" when that couldn't be further from the truth - Sasuke being effortlessly owned throughout the entire fight all because of Itachi wanting to push him into a corner to draw out Orochimaru and get rid of the Curse Seal, so just letting Sasuke pull out more, then keeping just slightly ahead until the very end, where Susano'o put Sasuke at his most helpless..And this was also with Itachi's eyes being like...99% blind and conveniently on the verge of death anyway from some unnamed illness that is never explained how he got to begin with, all just to allow Sasuke to "win" and get the Mangekyo. Itachi may as well have just killed himself overall. Even Obito told Sasuke that, had Itachi been serious about killing him, then he could have done so instantly whenever he chose.

Itachi was a beast. He could have easily killed Sasuke anytime he wanted
