except im pretty sure he refers to his sister when salad was right there somewhere in that part so that won't work. Trust me...i thought about it too. But noHere's a question....
Suppose Boruto is actually Sakura's son....
Here me out....
-Boruto hates Naruto for not being a attentive father, and acts out.
-He wasn't with Hinata and her daughter...
-He looks like he got some Sakura in him.
-Would also explain Sarada interest in him. *Not romantic, but relation.
Maybe I missing a lot points, reading too much in this but...

SJ are probably the ones that made him do it (along with SP for the movie). Whoever's making Part 3 must've wanted to continue it from a NH/SS end and Kishi had to "accept" it even though it brought him "sorrowful" feelings. That's most likely why he made the last to chapters so ridiculous to show the fans who know the actual story that it's not the way he wanted to end it.
If nothing else, we'll probs get an interview from Kishi himself at the end of that countdown

THIS. THISSSS X1000.
You know what's the worst part of this? Imagine what kind of message this sends to young girls..
NO.... how many panels do you need to see of Kakashi observing Sakura and saying that her love for him is different and changed? That she just wanted to save him? lol bye

Me on Youtube:
Kdogcentral5ables: Ha. Your an idiot. Naruto is better than goku... No kitten. I would like to see goku power up an entire ARMY!
TakeshiInazuma:The way Goku gave Ki to Frieza, He's able to passed out enough power for a whole galaxy, and still have enough to power down to 1% and solo Narutoverse.

I've experienced this kind of disappointment before, twice (which is why I pre-screen endings of the manga I read now... yep, I do that) but can't put my finger on it. Something isn't right, like something's really wrong and I can't quite put my finger on it. Does anyone else have this uneasy feeling?

Is it only me or does Bolt have some Sakura going on in the front of his hair.
Bet he had green eyes.
Where's that necklace come from?

Practically everyone's character or dreams were shattered in the epilogue. That Shino guy put it best, yet people are saying its 100% Sakura's fault, like the othe side did something. Naruto never confessed, so Sakura never rejected him. Naruto decided to move on, so Sakura stuck to her original goal. Yes I hate both these facts, but I'm not gonna let them ruine their characters completely.
Like I said, you don't need to like Sakura, but please show some respect seeing as before, most people were raising he'll about the Sasuke/Hinata bashing, yet are turning around and doing it themselves. It's rude to others on here and I just would like it to stop.
He's mine, don't touch.

i do. But i refuse to let my hopes get high this time. A bit strange how the movie designs and stuff were leaked around the same time as the manga and first images of the leaks and the manga came from the same website. It just seems so elaborate that I can't fathom them going to such lengths to make sure the final chapters aren't seen early, but the quality of the manga is half-assed to be honest. The story is something any person or child could whip up quickly.

I know what you mean. But I really think I'm going to do it to myself one more time.
"How can you not think something’s up
But starting with the time frame of the movie, let alone the plot and place in canon - again, I have no idea but the notes, teases and info we have received so far have not been entirely clear from what I can tell. And considering what happened with Road to Ninja the veracity of any of the publicity can’t be counted on until we actually see it. Suffice to say, the time frame of the movie, plot, narrative of the movie might encompass a bit more than we might be thinking. As unlikely as that might be and more than likely is, again, we won’t know until the movie is actually out.
Now, for your second point, this is the first I’ve heard of any “mini-manga” following the lives of the next generation, here assuming next generation means specifically and/or solely the children and families of the rookie nine and the like. All I’ve heard or seen even allegedly confirmed is that Kishimoto is doing “something” beyond the Naruto series out now in that universe featuring those characters. Again, I might be and probably am out of the loop on that but we’ll have to see. Like the film it could encompass more or be bigger than we are anticipating.
These might have been the final two chapters of this NARUTO series but if Kishi is resolved to continuing something beyond this we might be in for a pleasant surprise.
And as I’ve tried to outline (perhaps not so well as I could have - been a few years since I’ve needed to put my essay writing skills to use ;) ) in the other posts I’ve done the reason I have to think that at least one of these scenarios is pretty much certain is… honestly… just pure logic.
Kishimoto has spent 15 years on this series and this world, he’s set up these characters, these relationships, plots and sub-plots with all the nuances, parallels, motifs and leitmotifs throughout. And throughout he’s demonstrated that he not only is capable but is actually good at bringing these things full circle, closing them off, giving closure and resolution to them and all that being the case it is not logical to believe that he would really end this thing he’s poured 15 years of blood, sweat and creativity into with two really off chapters short chapters which explain nothing (see the post before this one) and a notion that a single 2 to 2 and a half hour movie will sort all the details and provide a suitable launching point to continue the series in any capacity.
Now many seem to be able and willing to accept and jump on him as if he’s really just that bad of a storyteller and writer but frankly, given the facts that isn’t a logical assumption to me. Of course, I could be wrong and he could have just gotten to the point where he was tired and didn’t care any more and just wanted this thing over and done with but even then, you’d have to expect it would flow with the overall narrative and logic he’s established over the last 15 years.
Now being that I don’t find any of that to be a logical conclusion… well as Mr. Spock reminds us, “once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”
So if the above is not the case. Considering again, all the work Kishi has put into the development of the story and character - specifically naruto and sakura, all of the hinted and impied intentions for them - not just in the narrative but from the mouth of the writer himself, the writer’s stated and recorded from his own mouth and writing intentions and plans to conclusively wrap up the story, answer all questions and resolve all issues (which he obviously hasn’t done with these two chapters as he’s written a film and has plans to continue the series himself in some capacity), and the fact that the 4th databook just came out and paints a very different picture than what we were just shown and above all just the context of what just happened both in literary reality and the world of the story itself - I can’t figure out how or why anyone would logically think this is it.
I can’t logically see how, even if Masashi Kishimoto were the most awful writer in history, he would or even could do something like this and just say that’s a wrap. To me the logic based on the facts make it plain that this isn’t the end of it at all and whatever comes next is going to be the real pay-off. And let’s be real here, this is in no way a precedent - an author finishing one version of his work with a huge cliffhanger, twist, massive mind kitten with your perception and starting on the next version or chapter of it in a new series where it’s resolved, shown for what it was and/or put to rights.
Now, again, I could be completely wrong and just reading into it what I want but come on. Do we really think Kishimoto is that bad a writer? Because, seriously this isn’t even about just pairings and this silly shipping nonsense, you and others have said and repeated and reiterated yourselves: we’re talking completely unfinished - not just gaping or faulty - actually unfinished and untouched plots, themes, character developments and resolutions, motifs, parallels. Other things the author is literally on multiple records saying he would do that haven’t been done.
If you choose to believe that he’s just that bad a writer to the point that he literally throws not just logic within the story but seemingly his sanity, effort, and talents in reality out of plane over a volcano surrounded by acid and sharks… sharks swimming in the acid… with laser beams attached to their heads… and machine guns mounted on their dorsal fins, well I can’t really help that and that’s of course your jolly good prerogative.
But to me, it just means he’s not finished yet and we still have more to go.
So again, I say keep your backpacks on."

I've had it with being depressed about this ending, had it with accepting this ending, if naruto has taught me anything in the past its to NEVER GIVE UP, so I'll take my chances with the movie and the new era project announcement monday and see how it turns out, I refuse to give up, *charges with battle song*
my gut has never lied to me about anime endings and I won't believe its lying to me now, if it believes this is an illusion, a genjutsu, then I WILL FIGHT UNTIL THE END!!!
