i think they are saying sakura think of naruto like a sibling XD.....

But how can you argue that Sakura cares about Naruto but doesn't like him as a person? She's rarely ever mean to him!

...i dont know? maybe they meant part 1 sakura? she seemed to care about him, but not care for his attitude back then...

Man, the sibling argument is rather annoying. Look, if it didn't have pairing hints in the manga, let alone movie ending, then I would be thinking, "It could be love or sibling love," but the plant is already set and it is romantic love. Kishi is making it clear that Sakura's feelings for Naruto can be romantic if she can reads it. So what, Yamato really meant to say, "In reality, you're like his sister." That's so anti-climatic that it makes no sense to be there. Ok, Sai. What about Sai? "Naruto, did you tell her your feelings?" and his response, "How can I? I couldn't keep the promise. I hope we can be great sibling." You see? It really don't add up.

Sorry, but I am fed up with that. Oh yeah, I want to date my sister. That's what Naruto thinks, even in movie. Sigh. Boy, I could use a Naruto facepalm right about now...

Out of those two would be fine. I know Naruto facepalm in the movie after being confused with the AU! village. And the Sakura one is the part Naruto went solo and pretty much caused the stir.

I mean Lee likes/liked Sakura and he tried to save her yet that doesn't mean LeeSaku is going to happen or that it has to happen? You really see don't see people running around saying "Lee tried to save Sakura's life she needs to get with him!!!!" Naruhina is pretty much the same thing (in my opinion) yet why is it that Naruhina is more popular ?

My answer is that Hinata is popular standalone, so if she's popular, she must have romance. And who's the one she wants? Naruto. Lee is not popular (lame...) so he doesn't get the same star power as Hinata. Funny, because they're both minor characters and haven't really develop their relationship with their love interest. You can say for Hinata, but Naruto is in friend zone forever for her. He has no indication whatsoever. It's sad for them, but hey, that's how Kishi roll.

you're right and i think i know why. naruto is the main protagonist of the series. hinata is a side character like lee. but hinata loves naruto, the main protagonist so there will be people who will like to ship them together and therefore hinata is popular and i can assure you that kishi have not planned the panels of hinata that we know of now if hinata didn't love naruto, i think it's just fan service. hope u get what i mean

oh and for these arguments that are still the same from 4 years that NH and SS fans always say, sadly , they just don't want to admit they' re wrong cause they know they are seeing the obvious but they have this idea in their head: "i don't want to lose in front of other pairings" and they know it's manga not footage of real life relationships and cases. and for me i could use both naruto and sakura facepalms for this XD

Actually, that's a really bad translation. Look at Viz's official translation of the same page- it's in volume 6. Kishimoto says when he was first drawing Sakura he thought he was making her cute, but looking back he realized he hadn't made her cute at all, his assistants and editors were laughing and agreeing with each other saying back then that she wasn't cute. I also noticed that the fan translator leaves out part of Kishimoto's positive comments about Sakura, hmm.... (again look at Viz's official translation...) and lastly, Kishimoto does not actually call her love for Sasuke selfish. In Viz's official translation the sentence reads "I find her arbitrary choice of romance object cute" (rather than selfish he's calling her completely naive about love, which is almost exactly how he describes her crush on Sasuke in the first artbook interview.)

At one point I had a copy of the original Japanese of that page, and the thing I recall from translating that was the word used did pretty much translate as "naive". I need to find that again. at least Viz's choice comes considerably closer than the fan translation...) I wondered where this "selfish" thing came from, since it never appeared in any official translation. Sad, even in part 1 the fan translations weren't terribly accurate. I've noticed in part 2 when I've compared the Japanese original to Viz's official one, their's can be off as well but it tends to be noticeably better than the fan done ones. (what irritates me the most about the fan done ones is the insertions of western curse words where the words in the original are in no way shape or form curse words- it's especially bad with Bee's words. Bee does not use curse words in his rapping speech. Viz's official translation of Bee's words are essentially accurate.)

It goes to show you that they do indeed "acknowledged" the NS development in those panels. Yet they don't because they deny completely any NS, but if Sakura is replace with Hinata then they completely acknowledge those "photo shopped" panels as true pairing development. My opinion is to let them do whatever they want they have the right to photo shopped manga and replace any panels Sakura has with Naruto as proof of "pairing development" evidence it also shows you that they know very well that Naruto and Hinata has absolutely NO scenes together therefore, no bonding and no pairing development that leads them with no choice to take out the Sakura panels replacing them with Hinata, otherwise why should they use photo shop in the first place? It doesn't matter what they do it won't change the course of the manga.

Some people will gladly tear down a character in the pairing they like in order to support the pairing. For example, people who love SS and insult Sakura's character when it comes to NS reminds me of the guy who said Hinata would kill herself if NH didn't happen. I doubt most SS fans actually hate Sakura, maybe just that their love for the pairing overcomes their love for the character. Or maybe they love a character, but they are willing to make her look bad for a pairing they love.

You have SS fans who say NS fans hate Sakura because they don't want her to get what she wants. Then you have NS fans who say SS fans hate Sakura because they don't care that what Sakura wants is obviously hurting her. TBH, I think both sides like Sakura. Even though Naruto isn't what Sakura has always wanted, NS fans see that Naruto has always made her happy and know that she will eventually come to want Naruto if NS happens. Even though Sasuke is hurting her, SS fans believe that Sasuke will come to love Sakura and treat her well, which will make up for all the sadness that Sakura had to endure in the past. In the end, I think the fans of both pairings generally like Sakura (except some side-shippers) although they may have different views.

Traci, we are not the same, ask yourself if any real life girl will like to be with a real life Sasuke when he treats you the same way he treats Sakura? SS fans has the tendency to wish Sasuke treated Sakura the same way Naruto did, SS has the also like to call Sasuke a jerk and a id**t, to show you that they did love the Sasuke from the movie saying that the AU Sasuke should teach real Sasuke a think or two for him to get over his revenche obsession, but later stated how much they dislike him for once again being a jerk, so if you don't agree with all the things Sasuke has done and wish he were more nice to Sakura, doesn't that tells you that the only reason the ship SS is because they see Sasuke as a cooler and more desirable person than Naruto, Naruto is loud, while Sasuke is cool and collective.

TBH we are not the same, SS throw away real life value through the window because Sasuke physical attribute is what a girls desire plus SS loves stories where the girl heal a terrible bad guy with her love, so they are hoping that Sakura humiliate herself just for the sake of the pairing, SS don't care how it happen they just want it to happen.

And to make myself clear lets compare.

Fan like NH because the likes Hinata because, she is shy, have good manners, loves Naruto and will never argue with him in other words submissive personality men's love this kind of women, while there is a big part that love NH because o Hinata's body, you will be surprised of how many fans call Naruto an Id**t for not noticing Hinata's ***** yet. And there another group that side ships the pairing to get Naruto out of the way of SS.

They say because Sakura loves him, but how many times with Sasuke good or bad we could see Sakura trying to let go of her desire to be with him, the first time was in chapter 3 look how early Sakura thought that loving Sasuke may not be a good idea until Naruto disguised himself as Sasuke given life to her fangirl mode again, then through the Manga we saw how many times she try to let go and how many times that love really hurted her, now the real reason why many likes SS is because they see Sasuke as a way more hotter person than Naruto, most SS fans are hardcore Sasuke fans and love posted all the sexy fan art about him, then we have the side shippers that wants Sakura out of NH's way.

Now NS
Tell me if even 5% of NaruSaku fans ship the pairing because they think Naruto or Sakura are hot. NaruSaku focus on the friendship, the bond, the concern, development, the fact that Sakura genuinely cares about Naruto and Naruto genuinely cares about Sakura, while both think about what they can do to make each other happy and will do anything to protect the other half.

Honestly do you really see SS, NH and NS has the same?

Did you ever ask yourself why Kishimoto and the Anime Team has always single out Naruto and Sakura in the Anime OP ED couples view (Naruto dreams) and artwork but had never single out NH and SS plus the only time they did it was with two fake characters that later got trolled? Why are they more comfortable focusing on Naruto and Sakura instead of the other two, if the other two supposedly destined to be the end game?

Another note, why Kishi made Naruto unhappy towards SS and Sakura unhappy towards NH when she could perfectly smile for Hinata since Naruto is a nice person, but he has never made a Sasu>>> Saku or a Naru>>> Hina to creates some questions, why there is only Saku>>> Naru?

Something else I want to had and this is mostly for T 03, he ask why is NS seems so obvious NH and SS are still that popular.
This is my replay. SasuNaru KakaIru and KakaNaru are very, but very populas but Zabuza x Haku seems to be more obvious you could call them a genuine disguised canon couple by the Author. Was ZabuHaku lest believable than the other Yoai couple when the other chareacters never acted that way and Naruto show on many ocations how disgusted he feel about those tipe a relationship?
Is the Same with NH and SS, there is no focus on the boys side but it's still popular.
