Kishi really kittened up with this chapter, back with LOI we atleast had patience for that kitten.

Tbh Kishi just messed up.The whole romance..NS fandom believed that NS is end game,SS died in 675,NH died when IT started and it's safe to say that we assumed people who don't ship NS will create a world war but now even in one chapter all development of HEROINE and NS's development became nothing.I still believe NS is end game and SS died and NH is in deep sleep but we think at least some shippers think it will be a silver medal and some fans jumped ship.I don't care about them but at least Kishi could write a better romance because to me,it is not good for NS's pride.

No, it's not dead. NS is still the end-game, don't worry.

 

No matter how much we want it, Naruto won't confess, he just witnessed her confess to Sasuke, Naruto isn't a character who is selfish, compared to other moments he didn't even react at all, he seemed fine with it. When Sakira urged Naruto bring Sasuke back he smiled but you could tell he was hurt in the inside but this time he didn't react all, looks like his feelings did change after all. We all thought that Sakura will actually move from Sasuke and actually side Naruto in the fight but of course we thought too much. Naruto deserves better, him being with Sakura no matter how it is written he will be the second choice. Kishi had this chapter to decide whether Sakura finally overcame her love over Sasuke and move on, or go back to square one.

I'm not being negative, having hope in something so small will only lead to disappointment In end, and the Viz translations tomorrow won't make things better

That's because Naruto knew all this time Sakura wasn't over Sasuke and all he wants is her happiness, that's why he brough back the POALT.

Nah, on the contrary, all of this is for no making Naruto a second choice. She "needs" to love them both, Sasuke be good again and still choose Naruto.

exactly, that's what is failed to be realized lol, to Naruto, Sakura-Chan is that 1 out 6 billion, she is the best and to him no one is better. All Naruto has to do when he gets the chance whether he is the silver medal or not, is to work at it and get her to love him in way she never felt before lol and he's set.

Exactly.To Sakura,POAL is not much important and I thought Naruto doesn't care about POAL back then but now he mentioned it...I really feel like bench scene will be visited.

I don't think she will fall out of love just because of a genjutsu, she would probably wake up and Kakashi will be like "Don't worry it was jut a genjutsu to stop you from following them" and then she will probably think he cares and what not, her falling for Naruto is over, she had 690 chapters to do so

He mentioned POAL because Kakashi wasn't there when Sakura pleaded to bring back Sasuke, Naruto witnessed that Kakashi cares for Sakura and her crazy feelings, Kakashi himself was emotionally affected, Naruto just wanted to calm down the situation

Naruto said it in the same chapter he doesn't go back on his words. His ninja way is to keep his promises.

 

He was always going to bring Sasuke back on his own before Sakura mentioned PoaL. SO if Sakura tried to disreagard POaL that didn't mean Naruto was going to stop chasing Sasuke. That's basically what Naruto told Sakura Poal wasn't the main reason he was going after Sasuke.

 

However PoaL was a promise to Sakura to comfort her. Naruto had and always will have his own agenda with Sasuke but he promised to bring back Sakura's happiness as well to give her hope.

 

And it ties into it of course that Naruto can't confess to Sakura when she's not happy.
