Who knows, she still could have fallen in love with him then. Right after that she went into that "acknowledgement" bit. If she finds out he was there, it could still have a profound effect on her.

Yeah, it could. I do what the bench scene to be brought up again, whatever the result is.

Sasuke says he has to protect Kakashi, because 'someone' isn't around.
Kakashi says that he has faith in his people and something about sending them out on missions.

He never explicitly says it's Kakashi he has to protect, but it probably is, yeah.

I hope Naruto's voice got deeper. I hope he sound like a dude now for a 20-21 year old.

His voice sounds a little deeper in the trailer, but just a little i think. He's still going to be voiced by a woman.

I don't know what to expect for NS now. If Sakura just wakes up, feels sorry for herself, and then has an internal realization on her feelings for Naruto it will look ridiculously forced. No matter what is done, Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have been emphasized too much for it to be realistic. And then there's the fact there's absolutely no way Naruto will accept a confession from her so soon after what he just witnessed.

If Kishi wants to make NS canon in the manga, then the most passable way can is for it to be in an impossible situation no room for doubt of her choice. Like thinking Naruto was dead from Sasuke, cue realization. And Naruto would have to be shown something in that moment that might make him think she has feelings for him or could love him.

Pretty much the OVA is the only less badly written way to go. The problem with me though is that it should've been done earlier when Naruto was "dying" beforehand.

"I absolutely can't let you die! I can't! I won't let you die ... your stupid dream ... now it's ... it's right in front of us!!"                                                                             ----Sakura Haruno

Well, Kishi could end manga by showing Sakura running to the VotE without telling us who she is running to. Or maybe there'll be a NH scene at the end. Who knows?

Sometimes I think that Kishimoto may make Naruto move on after he keeps his POAL(if that is possible... Sasuke is a real loony) instead of prolonging drama with confessions.

It cant end like that because after the fight ends, they both have to take down IT and free the others therefore if Sakura is running at them we will obviously see who she is running at

I bet Kakashi will mentally counsel Sakura or something because as of now she is unconscious. So Kakashi has nothing much to do except try to wake her up and knowing Sakura after waking she will start crying and I bet she will come to a realization of who she loves with Kakashi's help

Yep, Sakura is so stu... naive that even Kakashi can teach her who she is in love with. Tsunade would be a much better candidate to open Sakura's eyes, not Kakashi... (( who barely understands his own problems.

tsunade? The one who has been in love with a dead man all her life? Great example :wot:

it seems that women in this manga cannot be able to leave behind their first loves, rather Kishimoto prefers to keep them always alive for a lifetime. In Kishimoto's eyes, love's women are eternal, love's men are crushes and need to move on (like Naruto will do with Hinata :twitch: ) Don't make sense but this could be Kishimoto.

Her love at least was mutual. She is a woman with great experience. Kakashi doesn't match her in love department.

I know that was mutual... But I just saying that in this manga, at Kishimoto's eyes, women's love are kinda eternal and special, youn can't deny it. It's just how he inteprets that. The only one who has been a true man was Minato, who was in love with Kushina (even in the most banal way but still in a masculine way).

That's not true at all. Jiraiya never stopped loving Tsunade even after he kittened many other chicks. Obito never moved on from Rin. For what reason is there for Naruto to move on? Absolutely none.

The only portrayal of someone moving on was done by Tsunade (a woman) that was willing to try a relationship with Jiraiya right before his death. Even then she still loved Dan meaning that Kishi portrays all the love in this manga as positive and everlasting.

Kishi has portrayed Sakura loving Sasuke when she has absolutely no reason to and after Sasuke attempted to murder her, so for what reason is there for Naruto to move on from Sakura?

Is NaruSaku dead or what? I'm getting tired of Sakura, after all Sasuke has done he still loves him? Wtf... And Naruto seems to not give a kitten, guess he is all grown up. Whats next? Kishimoto gonna make sasuke win again and call the series Sasukes adventure of horror? ANd make the whole kitten intoa a horror massacre flick? l have to say any hope I have for NaruSaku died today when I read the manga, Ive been a supporter for so long, but now Im just tired of being one, so damn tired. Guess Im here to get some last hope injected in me, if not I consider it over now. Its done.

Well, women (at the average) are more constant when it comes to affections. A lot of us still feel something for our first love many years later. So it's not like it's impossible to love a man all your life. But I agree that Kishimoto took it  into a very absurd extreme. Maybe he's following Japanese classics, A never wavering love that is doomed from the start. The pure dedication. I think that an ideal of a Japanese woman (in men's eyes) is all about that. (

maybe because neither Obito nor Jiraiya had a woman like Hinata... I know that's tame, but still possible with that crazy mind of Kishimoto's...

Jiraiya must have found other worthy suitors in his life, but still prefered Tsunade. Naruto still prefers Sakura because of the girlfriend comment and if Sakura can still prefer a guy like Sasuke for absolutely no reason over naruto why would Naruto ever move on to Hinata?

The last thing I want to hear in this forum is people doubting Naruto's feelings when Kishi has portrayed such kitten like Sakura still loving Sasuke for no reason.

I am not just doubting Naruto's feelings, I was kinda joking there... But it's annoying to see how Kishi portrays women loves...It's very similar to when, during Edo era, samurais were supported by their women, no matter what the situation was, they remained faithful to their beloved ones. In a nusthell, his vision is kinda samuraish (and even badly old-fashioned).

She didn't fall in love with Sasuke in the academy, she "liked" him then as part of a popularity movement. She was always teased and it was pretty much the "cool" thing to do to like the little prick. That moment could have turned it "like" into some false sense of love with "Sasuke". It's not completely unbelievable. Kushina fell in love with Minato after he complimented her hair, i.e. her biggest insecurity. "Sasuke" (Naruto) complimenting her forehead (Sakura's biggest insecurity) could have had her fall in love the same way, only with the wrong person. If she finds out that it was Naruto, then it's concievable that she'll understand her feelings for Sasuke were a lie this whole time, and that it was Naruto that made the comment. It acts as a parallel between MK and NS.

Like I said you're overlooking this, she never once referred back to that comment, the only thing she remembers from that moment is Sasuke calling her annoying, she didn't fall in with the douche until FoD when she finally found out he isn't perfect and has faults like any other person, since then she stopped fangirling and only worries about him. The only parallel made this chapter was Sasuke thinking how heartbroken he felt when he lost his family to how heartbroken Sakura currently is due to Kakashi's words.

The part about Sakura realizing her feelings for Naruto when she wakes up might be possible. Genjutsu doesn't end when the victim is unconscious. (Those under the influence of genjutsu will either appear to be unconscious or continue to move around under the pretence of the genjutsu.) So she is still being killed over and over which will most likely traumatize her. I highly believe that genjutsu will make her get over Sasuke. Love can change to hate very fast.

I think SS is dead, but they still haven't given up hope and are arguing this chapter is a positive instead of a negative.
Sasuke has no feelings for Sakura, he just said so. They're arguing that he's just not admitting it, but if he was in love with her he wouldn't put her in a genjutsu of him murdering her. That's just not something a guy who's supposed to care about you does, I don't care how you slice it.

I don't think NS is affected.

No NS is dead not SS, I seriously do not want Naruto to be treated as a second prize, and Sakura won't lose her love for the douche anytime soon, she had 690 chapters to do so but she failed. Her character is just like Hinata she resolves around her love for Sasuke, Sasuke also never openly declined her, he said there's no reason for him to love her (after Sakura collapsed) and Kakashi's basically says he's making excuses and there's no reason to love, like wtf what can of excuse is that? I'm sorry but that's bs writing

No for a genjutsu to take place the user has to be near the victim, Sasuke's genjutsu gave such an impact to Sakura that she collapsed, just how Kakashi was immobilised by Itachi's genjutsu or how Sasuke fell into coma after a genjutsu from Itachi

No. Sound based and optic gen works from distances too. She's still in the genjutsu.

Genjutsu is created when a ninja controls the chakra flow of the opponent's cerebral nervous system, thereby affecting their five senses.

So me as a girl am supposed to love a person for no reason but appearance in the first place then later on that love will only grow stronger even though that person abuses me mentally and physically, tries to kill me and humiliates me, but hey that's love so I'll still love him. Oh and I am totally going to ignore and hurt the guy who has been perfect for me and appreciated me all this time long, protected me, made me smile and happy and loves me for who I really am. But nah I won't love him because love doesn't need a reason.

Oh and as a guy you just have to be a total ass because no matter what the girl will love you.

Wtffffff is that kind if bs writing. Doesn't kishi have a daughter or a wife or a mother? !?! What the - that's an insult to women and pro abusive relationships.
