Don't think the forehead comment made Sakura fall for Sasuke. Right after Naruto said that, he said, "Haha, that sounds like something Naruto would say," negating the compliment. Sakura even slumps down and says, "damn..." She never thinks back to it or anything, either.
Who knows, she still could have fallen in love with him then. Right after that she went into that "acknowledgement" bit. If she finds out he was there, it could still have a profound effect on her.

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Considering Naruto's line on the movie ticket, I don't think he'll be confessing until the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if the manga ended open ended on the romance, just to give the movie another hook, lol.
@AHK. The bench scene isn't important to her. It's never been brought up again, and she never flashes back to it. All of her Sasuke flashbacks are just her laughing near him or him randomly smiling or the 181 scene. The bench scene was only important to Naruto, as it's where he finally figured out what he liked so much in her.

I know, that's why I think the manga itself will end open ended. Why else would Naruto be telling someone to wait for them, because he has something to say? It sounds so much like a confession.

Might even be like the Raimi Spiderman trilogy where Naruto rejects her at the end of the Manga, but then in the follow-up movie they get together.

Not a chapter, it's his quote from the movie. Since the movie is being developed by Kishi, and is apparently canon (The trailer said the movie bridges the gap between the manga and the new era, whatever that is)

I think SS is dead, but they still haven't given up hope and are arguing this chapter is a positive instead of a negative.
Sasuke has no feelings for Sakura, he just said so. They're arguing that he's just not admitting it, but if he was in love with her he wouldn't put her in a genjutsu of him murdering her. That's just not something a guy who's supposed to care about you does, I don't care how you slice it.
I don't think NS is affected.

Think he's referring to some of the kanji that was on last week's sketches. Y'know, when Sasuke's sketch was revealed.

Sasuke says he has to protect Kakashi, because 'someone' isn't around.
Kakashi says that he has faith in his people and something about sending them out on missions.

I think so too. I believe Sakura's main reason for falling in love with Sasuke is her tendancy as a woman to protect and care for ones close to her. Before the FOD , she was just another fan girl. After seeing Sasuke targeted by Orochimaru and then his suffering caused do the curse mark, she became protective of Sasuke and desired to save him from all his pain.
She is under the impression that this attachment she developed for Sasuke is true love.
