Others (like me) think it is where the guy says that anyone Sakura was capable of loving had to be a great guy, which causes Sakura to think about her previous crush who turned out bad.

It can be argued either way, at this point. The only people who are wrong are the ones who claim "only one interpretation, this is fact!"

Uhhhh okay so for starterssss~ I don't think Sakura is any of those things you called her. Sure, she is confused and lost but who wouldn't be? You HAVE to consider her situation. Plus there is no way to say the person she was talking about was SASUKE. There's no way to say it was Naruto. We are being left in the dark on purpose. That's the point of a story. You don't spoonfeed your readers your plot, they have to try and understand some of the things you do themselves.

I'm just saying don't freak out and jump to conclusions. Be patient, this will all be resolved at the end of the manga or sooner

okay okay okay Its worrying all of us admit it (well to some degree) actually never mind can't speak for everyone here point IS Sakura gets this image of Sasuke in her head after the rejected no one character says her special some one should be a great person now what this means and how the pairing wars will turn is not quite obvious just yet as it can be interpreted in many ways, from your guess it was just a guilt memory, or it appearing as an SS moment and you WANT to blow your own head off (like me), at the moment we can only watch how it plays out and bthug, I know your pain man, I wanted to KILL my self! but don't blame Sakura *sniff* we still don't know why she was thinking of him just yet, however my brother assumes she was just thinking about how sher USED TO like him in the past so that could be true too ( OH I so hope to God these rational theories ARE True!) Kishi said in the interview ''i felt like i depicted a honest girl with a determined impression'' thats his words to a comment saying she used his love. Sai never said she lied and Sakura defended her feelings. why believe? because theres EVIDENCE and PROOF of this! her feelings for Naruto are seperate from sasuke. end of story.

I've seen the quote, but it doesn't actually say she is an honest girl in specific reference to the confession.

Whoooaaa, I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. They're just asking about the interview, they're not bashing or anything. There's not too many NH or SSers here obviously, but we can't just assume they're all "a**holes" just because they ship something else.

And people on this thread are freaking out way too much. It was just one panel, and obviously Sakura wasn't happy about the thought. And even if it's true, it doesn't end NS or anything. Sakura loves Sasuke. Big deal, it was already established. But until Naruto shows romantic feelings towards Hinata, Sasuke shows romantic feelings toward Sakura, or they acknowledge that they will only be friends, we have nothing to freak out about.

First of living lavish theirs no reason for name calling or fights, I think u jumped overboard by calling someone else an a**hole and ne an idiot, but whatever I'm not gonna hold it against you.

Second someone said imagine how Sakura feels, how about how naruto feels?
And maybe it's just me but I find it strange how Sakura could be in love with Sasuke in the first place it was all aesthetics to begin with.

I'm not gonna read into this and as for now Sakura still loves/has feeling for sasuke.
If the confession wasn't fake then y not think o naruto when asked about the guy who she loves and sure the Hinata thing isn't a big deal, but it was conveniently placed in this chapter.

Look in not losing faith, but a wise man once told me dont hope cause when u need it the most hope will leave you.
Although the only thing I do see coming out if this is Kishi just trying to pro long this and keep everyone interested, and this might mean more Narusaku moments so WE can overcome this

Here's the way I took it. Honest but stubborn implies she was being honest about a PART of her confession. We clearly see she still cares about Sasuke, a fact that still haunts her. But tell me, what could she have been honest about, if she clearly still cares about Sasuke, hmm? The answer is obvious. Her feelings are still changing, just slower than most NaruSaku fans really want.

Please you should stop provoking other members about our pairing being dead because this isn't the first time it has been said and the same amount of times it has been proven WRONG. We respect your opinion but you should really stop announcing the death of a pairing with just ONE panel from a chapter that has been released today I see that to be very unlikely. If you show respect to others you will be show the same respect too but seriously knock it off.

I think Sasuke is redeemable. It just wouldn't make sense if Naruto didn't fulfill all of his dreams in the end. Becoming Hokage and redeeming Sasuke. These seem like things that are gonna happen no matter how long it takes.

As for Sasuke, you bring up some good points and I may need to rethink what I was saying, but can you at least agree that both of the people you mentioned wanted something out of Sasuke and needed him to be all evil in order to get it?
