I kind of hope she does too although I still think it's stupid to make it his character growth.

Well if Juvia is dead...and with the Blood tranfusion, I expect it will work allot like it did with Reina's soul being fused into Musica's spear, so Gray will have a annoying voice in his head, one who will be a jeolous overbaring lover...so a million times worst.
So I'd rather her not dying and becoming that annoying concience for Gray.

Or she can be like Hinata, as in not dead but assumed quick. Well, if she is dead, what trick can you pull out of this one? That's my concern in terms of "Obito tier." I rather go for assumption than an incredibly asspull. See, Gajeel, I can understand, because if you don't see a body and if optional buried, that person is not dead.

It's not like death is a threat to an important character anyway. I don't dislike it though I just sometimes don't see the point of it at times

You know I don't really read Fairy Tail but I do see or read it from time to time, however....I just can't find myself to feel like "oh no! She's gone!!!" since its a possibility for her to come back like Gajeel (I knew he didn't die! I gave myself a pat on the back)

Gajeell is important to the plot, Juvia is not so it will be somewhat of an asspull and I'm loving Grey X Juvia thumbler meltdown right now.

That aside I'm fine with Juvia living cause I'm not expecting her to die, and I do like her character (though she's not a favourite). But as usual I enjoy what comes for what it is and if I DO disagree with the writing it's only to an extent and I'm more on the fence about it

I think what surprise me is the color of her hair. I thought she would have red hair like erza.

If she come back to life, then that means the author or whoever in charge of this manga want's everyone to have pairing and have kids for next sequel ... maybe.
I think we gonna see Gray get power up, the blood transfusion thing from Juvia will make him able to control water as well.
An out of control man needs a strong woman to control him.
And even a violent woman will become soft and tender to the man she love.
