Hope this means that he was able to get Marvel to raise his fellow Avengers' checks so they can also keep playing their roles.

"Superman is going to have to find a way to use his powers that he can live with."
That's pretty much how a lot of good Superman writers got around with the fact that Superman's powers essentially allow him to defeat any mundane villain or without using an equally god-like villain every single time.

Yeah, it's a hallmark of plenty of memorable stories with the Man of Steel. It was actually a highlight of the OGN Superman: Earth One. It had a lot of problems, but I felt like it gave us a Clark Kent that genuinely felt like a young man at a crossroads. Who has all these powers, wants to help people, but may not necessarily want to put on a costume to do it. Maybe he could use his talents in science, or some other field. Maybe he could change the world more that way.
It's relatable, because... haven't we all felt that way? Lost, wondering what we want in life or where to go in it? For the books flaws, it did succeed in giving us a Superman that related to being a young adult trying to make their own way in the world.

Batman/Superman cross-over film is next on DC's list, apparently.
UPDATE:
Now, they will be using a very...notable quote in order to reveal their next movie. However, the source of the quote isn't the main story, but an influence.

I am massevely disappointed to an extent mere words can't describe. Even the bloody timeline is wrong. Ultron should just show up in phase 3 were we will have an Ant man movie.

The Wolverine has an after-credits scene. Should be predictable they would, but it's nice to get confirmation anyway.
Got over the whole "Hank Pym doesn't build Ultrom in Avengers 2," like a few minutes after I read the news.

New Thor: The Dark World Trailer
If I wasn't already looking forward to this film. This trailer basically assured it.

Otherwise known as Thor, Loki, and Padme Amidala team up to save the world from an insane Time Lord Victorious, with some advice from Marshall Heimdall Pentecost. Sounds awesome.

I was just talking about this on Twitter, and I think there is potential for Affleck to pull this off.
For now, it's a time will tell sort of situation. However, I think that over the years, Affleck has improved greatly on many levels in film, so I'm not necessarily worried. Was he my first choice? No, but I think that he might pull it off.
He also could possibly direct the "Justice League" movie too, which would be OK with me after what he pulled off with "The Town" and "Argo."

Eh, for once I'm not 'cautiously optimistic,' this time I'm a bit on the naysaying side. Still, I'm gonna put that casting choice aside and view the movie when it comes out so I can get a better opinion.

Guh... I don't much care for the choice, but can't do anything about it, so I'll just wait to see the movie. I understand that they need a big name to replace Bale and I didn't care much for the other rumored actors either. It's not like another actor hasn't played two super hero roles successfully before. *Chris Evans, while the FF movies did leave something to be desired I think he did a great job playing the Human Torch and has done an equally good job portraying Captain America.

It's just a "report," so far, but I think he's probably a better choice for Lex Luthor than Ben Affleck as Batman.

I think I'm more interested in seeing what Cranston brings to the film. I'm kind of indifferent to Cavil being Superman. I didn't hate him in the role nor did I warm to him. There was little character developed in MoS that it's hard for me to form any sort of attachment to his portrayal. Cranston as Lex Luthor, I think he could bring some dimensions to the film that MoS was sorely lacking.
Affleck as Batman I'm not a real fan of, for the most part because I don't like Affleck's acting. For most of the roles he's been in he's very wooden and liveless. The only time when he's actually enjoyable is when he plays a cocky jerk of a character. (His spiel in Boiler Room is a good example) I mean maybe this role will show him maturing as an actor, but I'm going to be skepitcal until I see something positive in a trailer or something.
Overall, I really hope that Snyder, Nolan, Affleck, whoever attacks this script like a velociraptor, because MoS was embarassing. All the cg in the world and big name actors, can't account for a lackluster story.

new Robocop trailer
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=UuVphAuRo7Q
I really liked the silver and black, I wish they had stayed with that, but black does make more sense. I'm not sure I like how pretty he still looks when he's Robocop. The original had his face kind of stretched to fit the mechanical headpiece, it was unnerving. This looks more like he's in the suit. The action looks awesome. I miss his old gun, they replace it with a machine gun.
Thoughts?

Hilariously, I'm getting Kamen Rider/Punisher or Kamen Rider Skull vibes. It doesn't help that his new vehicle's a bike.
I'm predicting that Robocop would go from his traditional blue-silverish color in the beginning, then black while he's brainwashed, then would probably return to the familiar blue-silver near the end of the movie. Otherwise, though, I don't mind the suit. When I saw the initial, leaked images, I thought the armor was too sleek or form-fitting, but the blue-silver armor's fairly bulky like the older Robocop. And on some shots, his black armor looks bulky and on others, it's form-fitting. Ah, well. The movie as a whole looks good, though. I think I'll watch it when it comes out.

Now that you mention it, I'm totally get Kamen Rider vibes too. Anyway, I hope you're right and he returns to the blue-silver suit. I agree though, the suit didn't always look that great in spy cam shots.
