A very well built fighter using FF characters most of us know and love. It still includes traditional RPG elements, like leveling your character and collecting items by fighting tougher enemies. It's very well done, especially for a game on PSP.

Square Enix have always been one of the best at getting the most out of the PSP, this is no exception. Featuring awesome graphics and a ton of unlockables, Dissidia will keep you busy for many many hours. The gameplay allows you to perform moves just like the ones seen in Advent Children, though a pesky camera hampers the experience at times. The story was average, Cloud's in particular was pretty meh, it felt like a waste of time. I absolutely love the fact that there is so much to do, with items and abilities to unlock, plus a number of different modes. This is not a traditional fighter, and it may not suit everyone's taste, but for those who enjoy it, you'll be playng this game for quite a bit.

Decided to edit with the other game I played before this one.
Tales of Vesperia 9/10 - Damn solid JRPG. If you have a 360 and you want to kill about 50 hours, pick this game up. The characters are deep and the story deals with some subjects you don't normally don't see. I love the scenes as you walk that develop the characters and the battle system is pretty fun. (Make sure you actually activate your skills, i didn't until I was at level 21.

Seriously, it sucks.

7/10 awesome storyline kept it interesting, but other than that it was outright boring...

A few months ago I said inFamous was the best superhero game I've ever played. Well it had a good run, because that title now belongs to The Dark Knight. Simply the finest game based on the caped crusader, Arkham Asylum mixes the right amount of stealth, combat, and exploring to near perfection. Using his arsenal of weapons also gives you different ways to defeat his foes with such items as the Batarang and Batclaw. The voice work, specifically Mark Hamil, is Grade A. The interview tapes allow you to peek inside the disturbed minds of the inmates and are very entertaining to listen to.
The flaws of Arkham are that the variety of enemies isn't very good, you'll end up fighting the same looking thugs for the whole game. Though thanks to the combat, it never gets boring to take them down. The consensus is that the final boss fight was a disappointment that wasn't up to par with the rest of the game, which I will agree with.
Wrapping things up, Rocksteady studios has done The Batman Justice, I look forward to seeing what they can do in a possible sequel. I only wish other developers would put in the same effort for licensed games.

aka SaGa II
8/10
Feeling nostalgic for some days of my youth, I popped this little gem in. It's easily the best original Gameboy RPG they made. While it's light on story, it has some of the best replay value around for the time it was made. With the various classes, you can play it ten times and never have the same experience. While some people complain about the random stat gain system, I find it gives an interesting dynamic to playing. No two characters will ever have the same stats, so a class good with magic in one game will be a speedster in your next.
The translation is just awful, though. There's not saving it at all. I understand that many earlier RPG's used a simpler japanese alphabet, to allow children to play them, but there's no excuse for some of the massive fail found in this game. How Opium becomes Bananas, I will never understand. Stupid censors.
I'm also greatly looking forward to the SaGa II remake. 3D is good for this kind of game.

Since I had a little craving for some fast paced adrenaline pumping action I figured I can't go wrong with playing Need for Speed. It's a very well crafted game with twenty unique set of cars to choose from and race in a unique environment from the city, farm side, and even the docks. You are able to customize and trick out your car with spoilers, rims, paint schemes, body kits, and make your car look well suited to your tastes with tons of feature capability. Going along with this is the speed, acceleration, boost, nitro, and handling to make your car perform fantastically to compete in the underground street races. The game fits all that you'd expect from the Need for Speed series from the consoles (barring more customization option but that's due to disc space of course) but brings it your phone. The best part of the game is the stunning visuals and great camera angle that makes it feel you right in the driver's seat.
The control scheme makes it very comfortable to handle when using both hands to play and doesn't require any awkward movements causing you to potentially messup while making a sharp turn or breaking rapidily. This along with the sound effects when making sharp turns, roaring of the engine as you increase the speed, and use the nitro gives it a damn good simulation effect of driving an actual car. The multiple game modes such as head-to-head racing, cop takeout, highway battle, and 24 racing missions provide for a great variety of differentiation that always keeps you entertained. Always fun to play when I'm listening to a boring lecture from one of my professors and need to stay awake; except sometimes I get too excited when playing! For a $4.99 price tag it's easily worth a buy that will bring you hours of fun.

One of the best PS3 games out there. Excellent story, beautiful graphics. The cutscenes are top-notch, and as I've said, can challenge Metal Gear Solid but thankfully shorter (about 1-5 minutes scenes). The characters are witty and funny. The best improvement from Drake's Fortune is that the weapons all have more punch to them. The downside is I still experience some frustration with enemies especially when I'm surrounded (to say nothing of the new kind of enemies you encounter much later in the game. Grr....). It's probably just me, though, because I rock in multiplayer. So the .9 is only because of the frustration I felt, which was MUCH less than what I felt in Uncharted 1. Thanks Naughty Dog, looking forward to a sequel!

I FINALLY finished this game and I enjoyed it a lot, probably my third favorite Zelda overall.
