I'm thinking of some kind of accidental kiss sometime...which makes both realise their true feelings for each other. So I'm thinking of kiss first, followed by the confession.

Here's MY idea:


They kiss in the end, then the screen goes to Five years later. Naruto is engaged with Sakura, and the scene pans to barely to their chins, they are sleeping in their bed, and the sun comes up, signaling a new day. Naruto groans and wakes up. Sakura soon follows.

"Naruto-kun, did you get some sleep?" The pink haired woman asked.

The muscled man with blonde hair smiled and nodded weakly, still groggy from his sleep. "Yes, Sakura-chan."

They get dressed, and go out onto the balcony of their room, and the camera pans up, revealing the faces of Naruto and Sakura Uzumaki. Sakura will have slightly long hair, and Naruto will have the hair style of the Fourth Hokage, only he has whiskers.


THAT'S HOW IT ENDS

I would like a sudden kiss first... but I think if it happens it will be in a situation where Naruto really is going to die and Sakura is crying and saying that she loves him and wants him back and a tear is falling onto Narutos body and suddenly an ultimate healing power coming from Sakuras tear is bringin him back to life... or so

lol....sure Naruto would say it was accidental. after all he would be trying to run away from Sakura before she smashes his head. But I am pretty sure he won't wash his lips for a long time

The only kiss I can clearly remember is when Naruto and Sasuke were 'poisoning each other' in the third chapter. XD

Same with me. This being a Shounen manga and all, so definitely confession first. Though we all don't have to worry since Kishimoto does know and has drawn how characters kiss. Even if its not meant to be seen as such....

Anyway, to answer the original question,
I think the two will think they are alone and will start to move in for a romantic kiss and then BAM they get interrupted by shikamaru or sai or something and it will turn out hilarious. And just the fact that they were about to kiss will be the confession and the cause of more tension, hehehe.

I love that Minato smile And something I just now noticed.. in this picture Naruto doesn't add -chan to her name. I think in Japanese that means he is or feels closer to her.

personally i think it might happen with a half confesion followed by a kiss interupting the confession or an abrupt kiss. In the most recent episode of the manga we see sakura just escaping death due to Tsunade's snails. she begins to cry and then shouts out for naruto to return to the village. My opinion is that during the revilation of her near death experience, she relizes her feelings for naruto. I belive she will start a confesion and then somthing happens causing them to kiss OR when naruto returns and the fighting is done he says somthing to her that makes her relize why she has these feelings for him and interupts him with an abrupt kiss

@Nee-sama: ...Naruto did say Sakura-chan, since in that photo I can see the original Japanese characters behind the English ones, and I can read it.
They just didn't put it in English.

And the suffix "chan" is usually added to the end of a family member or a best friend.

Where as the lack of suffixes that Sakura does not use with Naruto indicates she is extremely close to him.
