& that's when I stumble upon a comment saying how Sasuke is SO much better than Killua and has a MUCH better character development.

Because sasuke character creation based on rukawa.
But it has rip off motivation and ability from kurapika than killua.
Kakashi is the killua of naruto, or more precisely the love child between killua and leorio.
