Very possible there won't be any pairing. It's Pokemon. It's all about Ash getting a good title for himself and getting famous, and talking about pokemons.

well im prepared for the red herring bs if it turns out to be like that but i give the writers credit for actually making the female have a canon crush on ash and shes helped him alot she is the reason ash greninja is perfected

Yup they constantly hit at Serena's feelings for Ash alot throughout the XY + XYZ series.

 

Especially with Miette, and I'm not gonna lie I find her to be really amusing especially when she purposely teases Serena! 

 

 

 

In terms of Ash's perfect unbeatable team for a possible league which got me thinking for a while since Episode 38. I do wanna say his team for Kalos has been pretty amazing even though he lost, I will say that he make it second place and He went out with a bang now that i rewatched it.  

 

So for Ash's team this is what my list would've consisted of: 

 

1.  Pikachu 

2. Greninja

3. Charizard

4. Sceptile 

5. Infernape

6. Krookodile

 

 

 

That would be an insane team.

I saw Episode 12, and I did get a bit salty like really, but then when Meitte came I was like Oh I see what you're doing: 

 

Serena's reaction when Meitte asked Ash to be her date was just priceless.

 

It's actually episode 20

 

I sure did, and I just laughed where Meite is like: 

 

"And there's you know who?"

Yes , it is funny and good Amour moments. Something curious I found that in 2006 there is a fanart from a advance shipper that drew May dress like Ash then 2016 Serena dress like canon.

nope nope, switch out charizard for gliscor, or did you forget how strong that pokemon is, and infernape is stronger than charizard with blaze anyway. then the team will be perfectly balanced

Aside from wanting Serena to travel with Ash to Alola,  my second wish is for the writers of XY & XYZ to continue being in charge of the story for the Sun and Moon, and only them. Not the B&W writers ugh.. the fact they wrote the Kalos league finale was unbelievable.

 

 

 

As for Ash's Alola traveling Companion.

 

1. Serena (A guy can dream lol) 

 

 

 

 

2. Lillie 

 

 

Between the two female protagonists in Sun and Moon, Lillie looks more interesting. 

 

3. Hau 

 

 

 

Kinda reminds me of Sawyer (Shouta), but he'd be a cool addition to the group.
