I really don't know what his definition of "heroine" was when it came to Sakura. He said he would give her some time to shine... When did that happen except for that diamond shape symbol showing up in Ch.632?

It was my joke, that her development was in scene when Naruto confessed to her.

Well to be honest I ship both NS and IchiRuki, even though I'm okay with if Ichiheme happens at the end. I won't complain. Like I said before I think Kubo has given enough moments between IchiRuki and Ichiheme in Bleach for me to say either one works will work despite my choice.  

 

 

 

 

It's the way that Kishi portrays Sakura that makes many people hate her. Except for that Gaara Rescue Arc, Kishi barely let her shine. And she looks pathetic and weak when she is shown together with Sasuke- at least I thought so.

That inhumane, montrous strength Sakura and medical intelligence she possesses is usually not called "useless" when shown with other characters in other series.

 

 

This one will probably be obvious, but I guess Sasuke just grew into Kishi's favorite character that Naruto didn't really matter. I mean when you look at the story probably a good 50-60% of it was dedicated to Sasuke. I mean Part 1 as I always say everyone had equal screen time, but Part 2 you can clearly see that Kishi took favortism in a particular Uchiha that no one else mattered. I mean the funny thing is when it came to Sasuke you got to see him traveling around the world, and Naruto it was like okay go on a mission to stop the Akatsuki and protect the village (as much as I hate to say it) training, or go after Sasuke. 

 

 

The sad thing whenever Sasuke did enter the picture nobody else mattered in the manga I always noticed whenever I kept rereading the manga and at times I always wondered like "Kishi I know Sasuke is you're favorite, but come on show some other characters love."  I mean hey I'm no mangaka, but I do storytelling and ofcourse I'm writing a book and I've got a favorite character, but I'm not letting that favorite of mine make everyone else unimportant.

I agree with you on kishi favoritism.

I'm okay if kishi intention to make him equal with naruto in order to invoke rivalry among them. But what happen in this manga is sasuke get more fight than naruto. In shonen battle manga that is serious business.

There are other Japanese media that I think do the same with naruto.
It name is kamen rider ryuuki. You can check it on wiki.
Basically the title character dead one episode before final episode, and the rival become protagonist for the last episode.

   Damn I can hardly contain my emotions by hearing all of that, man it feels good to hear stuff like that.. Which reminds me I need to catch up with X and Y anime  and see that new movie that's about to come out on dvd.  The Cacoon of Destruction it looks like a really promising. I'll be honest I haven't been this hyped for a Pokemon movie since The Rise of Darkrai and that turned out to be my second favorite out of all the movies.  Pokemon 3: The Movie still stands as #1 on my list. Why you ask cause that epic Charizard fight against Entai and also I loved the story to it as well.  

 

So Cacoon of Destruction let's se what it has to offer... Off topic I know, sorry tricksie

.....and that is why I never was interested, the fact she barely knew him yet only wanted to travel with him over a crush and she's had no major goal other than pokemon movies or whatever they call those movies, and I kinda guess a sexist comment like that would happen sooner or later, it IS the pokemon anime after all   It always felt like it was trying to be the new ash x misty but felt flawed from the few episodes I watched, I mean they even did the hankerchief thing? 0.o why do people see that as romantic again, they were little LITTLE kids and ash was being nice, I mean I understand trying to think of moments to give them together but there's just nothing romantic about that moment 0.o

Thanks I just finished watching it, and putting my nostalgia aside, I thought it was a great Pokemon Movie. It's no Pokemon Movie 3,  but I think it ties with Rise of Darkrai. I mean there were a few pacing issues, but that's about it. One thing I can say is Cacoon of Destruction is in my Top 5 favorite Pokemon Movies for sure I can guarantee that much. Those that are fans of Amourshipping (Ash x Serena) there are like two subtle hints you got a pay close attention to see it. Otherwise you'll miss it. I'll probably have to watch it a couple more times to determine if it's better than Rise of Darkrai which is probably my second favorite Pokemon movie of all time.      

 

 

So on a scale from 1 to 10, I'd probably give say Diancie and The Cacoon of Destruction about an 8.5/10. 

 

 

Btw it was a promising movie, which I am pleased with unlike with what The Last had to deliver.

That is pretty tough to do.. I mean you can poke at your favorite character in certain scenes here and there which won't necessarily destroy all the other important characters in a story.
