Why would anyone choose to prevent Sasuke from traveling the world? If he made the decision of his own volition without outside influences and a clear, emotionally stable conscience, he shouldn't be forced to remain with Team 7 for the sake of their personal dreams. 

Knowing Naruto and Sakura they will try because its what they have wanted for a while now but it the end I think they will let him go.

Hot and cold could be a reference to the moralities of Naruto and Sasuke. A faucet allows the flow of water when turned. The question is which one to turn on when you don't have much water left. It could be a metaphor of a choice that Sakura will have to make in transferring her healing jutsu to restore someone's limb.

That's more Karin's color than Sakura's. Sakura's hair is pink.

Someone suggested the hot and cold means Samui and Atsui. Since the sealing items and their destiny are unresolved.
