I don't care about the love/loved thing. Kishi teases us all the time with that kitten.

But it's the fact that he made Sakura cry and revert back to the girl who couldn't do anything. Imagine if she just gave Sasuke that look as they left. That would have been awesome but Kishi made her cry and plead to the douchebag like she has nothing else. I am very dispointed and I am sure Tsunade would be to, as she didn't train Sakura to cry.

The problem is that they're calling her out on stuff that's well within her character to happen. I know some people are annoyed by some of her thoughts and stuff, but seriously... Sasuke is on some next level sh**. This isn't just to kill one person anymore, it involves everyone she cares about, including Sasuke himself.

The girl is going to be inside the infinite tsukuyomi until it's undone. Most likely at the end of the battle, so unless she can fly too I don't think there's much hope for her being put into the center of the battle.

Honestly when I saw Sakura get angry I thought she was gonna get up and punch Sasuke in the face instead she became the fangirl she once was again just like how she was at the ninja academy in the beginning so I was like "wow Sakura still loves him so much she can't even let go of him"

 

Believe it or not, the faith in the SS fandom is still high. They actually read this chapter as a positive.

That's because they love the pain/murder in their pairing

 

Are you surprised? At one point they were okay with murder attempts. This one right here was just a genjutsu so according to SS fans, it's an improvement.

She doesn't have that power-ups to begin with. I admit it that I kinda flipped when Sakura said things like that but that I still am Sakura fan inside of me. I'm still a fan because of who she is. 

Don't just look at Sakura's flaws. She has done big things in this war and she trying to stop his teammate to stop fighting with other teammate makes you hate her? 

 

I hate kishi's writing most of the time honestly, but I will never stop in being a Sakura fan. I'll always be. She has flaws and so are other characters. Sakura's accomplishments> Sakura's flaws.

Absolute? Yet it's been proven time and again that Tsukuyomi is not impervious. Sasuke overcome it with a simple combination of his Curse Seal's power, his 3 tomoe Sharingan, and some heartfelt determination. Kakashi resisted the aftereffects for some time and Tsunade reversed with just a touch of the forehead. That technique has had quite a few holes poked into it. We don't even know the exact nature of the genjutsu that Sasuke used on her. It could have been a basic Sharingan genjutsu for all we know - for which case, there's a strong implication that her genjutsu resistance is hardly any better than the Raikage's. The fact that this illusion is being fueled (presumably) by the Sharinnegan is Sakura's only mitigating factor.

I laughed at the degression Kishi has made with Sakura's claims, not the fact that she's in tears. Nice assumption though.

 

So if it's just screaming and bleeding to death, why couldn't Sakura have a part to play in the fight? Obvious answer is obvious.

 

You just stated one of the reasons why she won't have a role in it. What to hear another one? Sakura isn't going to have a role in it because her character has slowly been made into the third wheel behind Naruto & Sasuke, hence her challenge of catching up with them and watching her back. But again, how's that turned out?

It seemed quite obvious you were laughing at Sakura in tears, considering you added pictures of her crying and captioned it with "lol sure thing sakura". Please keep up the personal attacks, I'm sure it adds credibility to your defense.

 

The point about screaming and bleeding I was trying to make was not in regards to Sakura; but in regards to my choice of the word "lecture". The main parts where Sasuke and Naruto bond are when they clash and there are huge explosions. In that moment, the two of them are transported into their white dimension where they make peaceful handshakes and whatnot. Love it or hate it; it is a deeply personal bond they share.

 

Her challenge to get stronger does not equate to her actually being directly involved with Sasuke's redemption. Even when Sasuke was the main focus, it was stated from the start that saving Sasuke was to help Naruto's pain. The whole Sai arc was about Sakura explaining to Sai why Naruto considered someone so twisted as his brother.

I wrote into another thread that Sauce is *the* anti-hero.

Of course he has feelings, or else he would be the villain; he didn't kill Sakura but stopped her from witnessing his next crime.

A villain would have used the occasion for more profit..

 

Sakura may not be his love interest, but she's a constant reminder of what he was before choosing his path.

 

At this point of the story, I got to accept Sauce is trying to redeem himself by pursuing what he thinks would make a better world

but even so.. no matter how i read this chapter, it showcases Sakura's desperate attempt to bring back the "old Sasuke" from team 7.

This is a person she loves or loved (whatever you fancy), but the main point here is she will always care for him.

 

Like Naruto and Kakashi, Sakura also has this strong sense of responsibility for Sasuke.

Which i think perfectly fits what old man, Hagoromo said about Sasuke "having a love different from what he had with his mother."

I'm betting on it being Team 7, not Sakura alone to fulfill this.

Its pretty obvious that Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto are the ones playing as his family right now..

 

Anyway...that Sakura stab though... surprised me a bit with it being Rin-esque..

lol it is quite similar with how Kakashi did it with Rin..

 

After reading this chapter, i think i became a bit more understanding of Sakura's "undying love" for Sasuke.

She will forever care for Sasuke. and i think that is okay. a person she used to love will forever be special to her.

Like how Sasuke will forever be special for Naruto and Kakashi.

Although i knew and felt like this even before this chapter came out, i think my understanding and acceptance of it grew bigger.

I'm not really going to call SS dead, not because i think it still has a chance but just because i am still waiting for another account coming from Sakura.

True he did but Naruto is in the same boat as Sakura and I'm getting sick that all he did at then end of the chapter was just smile at Sasuke.

 

As for Sakura she said loved as in past tense again as I said earlier my friend who is a NH fan said it means in the past. I mean what did you want her to do just say F*** you Sasuke.

Well guys I think the important thing isn't to argue over the tense, just look at the logic of the story:

Can SS happen after all this? Is there a reason for any of it too occur? Is it acceptable after being presented with so much antagonism and strife as some inner struggle with sakura? No, to just have SS come and be Sasuke all happy again and sakura happy merely cause she hoped, yeah that's an asspull, makes all the issues just referred to as "a bad time in their relationship"

Let me also say this:

Is Kishi done with Sakura's character? No! While she is out for now, there will be a point in future chapters where she comes back to reflect on this, maybe it will be sooner or later but the point is, sakura has been changing throughout this story in regards to both naruto and Sasuke, this trait has for the longest time been one if her biggest mental traits, loving Sasuke despite his dark actions. Does this mean SS will occur? No! Does it mean at this point that ns is somehow not able to occur? Not at all!

This still changes nothing in regards to narusaku and really it amazes me people still tend to forget kushinas foreshadow saying to find a girl like her and we only have sakura fitting that still to this point.

Sakura's wouldn't fall out of love with Sasuke all at once, it would have to be a gradual process. In 675, even today, the outlook of her love having decreased/decreasing still makes more sense when you think about it like that rather than by past or present tenses. Hell it still makes sense she wants to save him for the same reasons naruto did, but in her case this was all she was able to do and met with the same results in that she couldn't impact him.

Am i annoyed with SS? Yes. I believe it's like a cockroach or stubborn cancer that just won't die, but there is still nothing saying sakura is somehow iron locked into this and unable to change, and yet this is exactly how SS fans think, why are some people here making a deal about it?

Sakura continues to change between them and it's not like it's impossible that she wouldn't come to love naruto. I mean for gods sake naruto and sakura already have the relationship that's not only the closest but one of those that could really just occur when one of them realizes how important they are to the other.

The deal is, narusaku is still fine, it hasn't been impacted in any negative way. But look at all the crap that has befallen SS this year, attempting to cut through sakura to take Madara down, abandoning her to fall in the lava, Sasuke calling her useless, and now this? Seriously there is no reasonable way this can be salvaged now.

If anything this was the harsh moment of truth for sakura, if anything now, this would be the moment to have her change or reflect upon herself, I mean again she didn't know things would come to this but as they have, she wanted things to go back to what they once were but after what Sasuke did to her, it was the same, that it can never go back to what it once was.

Honestly, if people here are losing faith in ns, I would say again, how did this chapter impact it? Sasuke just proved today to be the biggest issue to SS and wouldn't you be more excited for the fact the promise is proven to still be back, you know doesn't this mean 457 is still around too?

It's funny how many people expect that naruto just gets sasuke back and says here sakura I'm going to hinata now. No really that's what nh and SS fans expect in a nutshell.

Wouldn't it be I don't know, more reasonable to suspect that naruto brings Sasuke back but instead of focusing on Sasuke, sakura focuses on naruto because of everything after all that promise?

All I know is, after reading the stuff to this point, there are a few trolls mixed in, some people are upset with sakura, others annoyed she loved Sasuke as long as she has but seriously, after seeing how rotten SS has become, there's no way it can be reasonable or justified.

Narusaku is still around and able to occur, really this may just be the time she reflects on herself and moves past Sasuke, she doesn't need to hate him, but hey she is still changing in regards to both naruto and Sasuke and something tells me that unfinished stuff with naruto will become something else.

But today we learned SS just got the biggest beating of it's life and the promise is still around this is the only narusaku deal in here, but again we also know that promise has the element of 457 on it, and naruto still loves sakura so you can bet your ass he will confess at a later point.
