I have yet to see any of the hobbits movie, lol. Was is it good? Glad you had a fun day. Btw, you've got a great cousin ^_^ I also like to keep my birthdays as simple as possible.  And, lol, I can't believe you watched TG XD Was it Ria's first time watching the anime? And what did your other cousins think?

I still don't understand exactly this whole connection with youtube and google, but then again, I don't upload any videos on youtube. I'm just there to comment on videos.

Lol, I can't wait to see Forneverworld's and ChibiReview's reviews on the new season of TG Root A.

It was pretty good actually and had a nice end to the trilogy. Yeah I got to thank her the most for planning all this out, I don't think it would've been as fun without her. Yeah it was her first time watching it and surprisingly we finished watching all 12 episodes since they were like only 20 minutes long per episode so it took maybe 4 hours to finish up. Which was around 9:30 when we finished. So I had a different opinion this time around when it came to the anime, just looking at it as an Anime I thought it was pretty good. Ria basically had the same impression I did when I first saw the anime especially when it came to the Aogiri Tree arc, though like me she thought it worked well as an anime, instead of comparing it to the manga. Some (about 2) of my cousins thought it was okay (they're not really big on anime so they played air hocky), the rest (about 3 cousins) actually thought it was pretty good. 1 thought it was a little gruesome 1 thought it was going a little too fast, and 1 really loved it (this one has a little crush on Kaneki so she's making Touka her imaginary rival in a sense which made me and Ria laugh alot).

Yeah I don't really understand it all too well either, Which is why I switched my stuff over to Google+ live streams because it won't crash on when you are in the middle of recording. So that's a plus point there.

I can't wait for it either, is it already out cause I remember you said that it would be out today if I'm not mistaken.

Lol, all 12 episodes? It's funny to hear all the different reactions from your cousin. Your one cousin who has a crush in Kaneki will also have to include me a rival. Just Kidding

EDIT: As yes, w/out comparing the anime to the manga, I think the anime was well done. I'd give it a 8 out of 10.

I wish my friends would be anime/manga fans. My cousins- I don't even have to try to make the watch it.

Yes, the first episode just came out. It's already out on Funanimation, but I don't have a subscription. Don't feel like typing in my debit card information in there although it's a free trial, so I'm just gonna wait until it's out on Kiss anime which has the best quality next to Funanimation. Gosh damn it! Ch.71 was nearly half as dramatic as I wished them to make it T_T

I can't remember it correctly, but this whole explosion thing with the Aogiri base never happened in the manga, right?

That ending scene with Touka and Kaneki. So sad :(

Your first review video of TG ^_^ Yeah, a big pt you missed was Hide. He seems to have been much more "important" in here than in the manga. That alone is already deviating from the original story.

Same here, it wasn't a masterpiece or anything like that, but as a standalone (it's hard to shed off your expectations you had from the manga) it was very good.

Totally agree with you about those two moments you were disappointed about. I wished they had included the 103 bones scene :( But then again, Kaneki would have never able to join Aogiri otherwise.

That moment when Amon saw Kaneki was definitely significant. IMAO, "It's not on some type of Yaoi type kitten"

It might just be, but I'm right now not that satisfied with Kaneki's voice acting. He doesn't sound like the Shironeki we've seen in the end of season 1. This episode, however, portrayed Kaneki in such an emotionless way.

The scene b/w Touka and Kaneki was really touching T_T Did you see how they didn't animate Kaneki's eyes? It indicates that he wasn't able to look at Touka directly in the eyes.

Lol, sorry about that.

B/c Ishida would have been forced to cram up 60+ chapters in 12 episodes. Trust me, that would have been a lot worse. I think Ishida is deviating from the original manga story so drastically so that there is a possibility to see a more faithful readaptation of the manga in the future.

It's really not that bad you know. True, there is some disappointment mingled in all this, but we've been told for a long time that this would be an original story. Reactions are all over the place; some think it sucks, some others welcome to not know what will happen from now on.

I think what this season will do is to create even more awareness of the manga. When animewatchers only decide to pick up the manga, they'll notice how the story in the manga is completely different; this might even increase the manga's popularity even more.

Anyways, I hope you do start reading the manga soon b/c it's one of the best ones I've ever read if you ask me.

Yeah I knew while watching it like okay's really good, but still they skipped out on those 2 moments from the manga. Like you said Kaneki would have never able to join Aogiri so I can agree with you on that.

Lol, I guess I should reread TG from the start very soon. Oh yeah, that's true. Now I remember: Both Yomo and Uta were responsible for the dangerous reputation the 13th ward had. I don't think Yomo is involved with the clowns, at least I hope he isn't b/c otherwise he would even become a more hatred character than Uta. The latter is really hated among the fandom now.
There's been a theory going around that Nutcracker might be actually the ghoul who raised Suzuya. Enough time has passed to for her to loose weight. It's just mentally hurting ya to write out her name Sasaki and Shirazu better watch out or otherwise... Crossdressing won't help with the sense of smell she probably has.

I wonder why they are going to cross dress, knowing that it won't help all that much. Although, Torso wasn't able to identify that the girl that looked like a boy was a girl...

You know the good thing? Now that we are going into the original anime material, we don't need to worry anymore about the manga content. Watching TG again, but not knowing what will happen: I welcome this kind of unexpected turn of events

Well, it's true that Shironeki has undergone a drastic character development, but this Kaneki is just not convincing enough to me. He barely talks, and I can't just don't feel like the voice actor is fully impersonating Kaneki in his new self. But it's only the first episode, so we'll see.

If Touka would have just punched some sense into him XD But she was wounded T_T They make both Touka and Kaneki suffer even more in this series. Can't wait to see the inside of Aogiri Tree.

Seeing half of the investigators die was shocking as hell. Oh and btw, no censorship. Thanks SP.

Imao, Sawyer7mage is back and reviewed the first episode of Root A. I missed his sense of humor. Goddammit, Sawyer, just give the manga a try- looks like this episode convinced him now to start the manga though. He should beware of the comments b/c I doubt he knows that Kaneki doesn't join Aogiri Tree at all in the manga

Ugh, that's true. Everything changed after 698. As soon as Sasuke is back, Sakura is all like:"kitten Naruto, I've got my Sasuke-kun back and can travel around with him in the world."

As for the scene in TG, it was very emotional and heartfelt, especially for the Touken fans like me.

Oh, and one other thing: I've seen your status on tumblr about this whole "Hypetrain for TG". When you start reading TG, try to forget the hype fans are making. Just treat it like any other manga and lower your expectations.

In the anime, Juuzuo was creepy as kitten. They should have chosen another voice actor, but then again, some scenes cracked me up a lot. I'm trying to imagine what Sasaku and Shirazu will look like as women... Mutsuki didn't look to happy either. It sucks for him that he has to take up his previous identity again. Torso actually kind of had the idea of Mutsuki being a woman, I think. Otherwise he wouldn't have dared to attack him like that.

Lol, I totally forgot about that! It can only be someone from Aogiri Tree in my opinion. Maybe it was Nora or Eto? I imagine it's someone from the higherups.
