I only remember watching more Pokemon and DBZ than Digimon. I mean I saw it but I lost care because of something. I don't remember. I was more into those. Plus Pokemon video games are awesome, so it made me watch more. How about that. Ads does work on kids.

The last half of 02 was terrible, everyone suddenly becoming Digidestined, that lame Myotismon knock-off villain at the end, and of course the terrible epilogue & dreaded Sorato.

I agree, the only part that had potential over there was the whole thing with Black Wargreymon ( he was such a badass), the whole thing with Daemon and his lackeys and Oikawa as a villain was interesting because it was the first time we got a human villain

 

However the whole travel arounf the world arc was kind of unnecessary and Myotismon as a final villain was kind of disappointing because not only he never lived up to be someone threatening during his appereance, the way he was defeated was also weak

I got nothing against Davis but I always thought it was stupid how the staff created a lame Tai knockoff to be leader instead of T.K. or Kari who were much more qualified. Especially Kari who is Tai's younger sister & has one of the most powerful Digimon (Gatomon). Instead she's reduced to the love interest and nice boy T.K. is made as the rival. (T.K. also saw Tai as an older brother before Davis ever did) Replacing Kari with Davis was lame sexism.

Nah even if Davis got developed I still think Kari would've made a better leader.
The only good new character in my opinion was Ken. I did enjoy his & Davis' friendship though. XD

Well unfortunately the Taiora was made more of a big deal in the dub script than it was in the original. Sorato was hinted since season one in the original. And the Writer's excuse was Oh the Childhood friends thing was cliche. LIKE the nice girl with bad boy kinda guy isn't?

Yeah, I know the dub script did make it more "lovely" like in Pokemon or even YuGiOh.

Sorato was never hinted in season 1, Matt and Sora barely talked to eachother. I know a lot of sub watchers like to say it was there in the original but honestly even in a different language I still don't see any Sorato. It became hinted when 02 started.
