What preview?

I was referring to second last page. Second last page is usually a preview and usually a direct one, rather than the SJ itself with a preview that may hint the future, rather than what's next. Think about it: the second last page said that Gai will go all out indicating his eighth gate, then another one is unleashing the final attack from him, and now, this one left Obito with "..."

Other translations say "madara attacks obito and sakura?"

 

Remember its an editors note, they don't always mean the exact stuff. They are a preview of some event but not everything, I mean the one chapter ending with naruto waking up in his inner world said something so general, "naruto wakes up" but exactly where and to what wasn't given, the big surprise that chapter was he met hagoromo. I mean its one part different translations or if they actually end up following the editors note.

 

Even in this one, which just has obito, well we can say it didn't make reference to sakura, just because it didnt that doesnt mark her as dead now, maybe something in the chapter happens early and she gets sent out of the dimension by obito, that is an equal assumption by this then. With no reference to sakura, we can evenly say either she is there or she is not, her condition isnt known though by this statement.

 

Otherwise if we go by the editors note saying obito and sakura, yes we could say, madara attacks both of them, but the success or severity of it is not known.

 

Even if he wounds sakura though, he may just make the same mistake again, leave her if she is injured, preoccupied with obito and then leaves. He thought he killed tsunade yet she survived (though taka came to help her) I mean, this is a rod, even if it hits sakura, the fact she can call on healing abilities, theres still stuff in favor of sakura living aside from well, the development, role, and importance, I mean obito otherwise her own abilities can save her, Madara isnt one to toy around or just waste time on those he doesn't consider important, if anything its more like he would just stop sakura and leave her injured rather than finish her off, well this is unless obito manages something or if sakura has some trick to avoid/stop the rod or endure the hit.

Either way you look at it, in this situation, Sakura cannot be anything but a damsel in distress. If she gets struck by Madara's black mass, that's it. Pretty sure Madara also has onmyoudon, so byebye healing techs. Expecting to be disappointed for the next chapter tbh. As for this chapter...yeah I'm definitely going to have wait for the animation to actually understand what just happened. Seems like Sasuke has some kind of s/t jutsu to me. Honestly cannot wait for Madara to take back his other rinnegan, that's when kitten will finally get real.

I'm just wondering if the two weapons Naruto was using in the chapter were the same as the rods that pein/nagato used? Some sort of chakra absorbing rod.... I was just curious

He'll either miss by Sakura dodging the attack or Obito defends her. Either way, I think she won't be hurt. The way I see it, the last panel shows a set for Sakura not getting hurt.

Yeah, I know. I was giving my opinion on the matter of the attack getting missed by Sakura or Obito XD

Well Madara is only half the man he used to be

 

The deal is, well the final 2 panels of the rod thrown and the reaction from obito lead to an equal assumption of him reacting in time or sakura being hit.

 

I mean people speculated how minato would transfer yin kurama to naruto, it turns out it was a simple instantaneous process (though black zetsu got in the way) really I would say being an edo tensei made no difference for an impact on minato and being the former ten tails jinchurki, obito could seemlessly pass tailed beasts through him no issue well out of black zetsu.

 

In this case, it can be as simple as sakura reacts in time and dodges or obito takes the hit or sakura getting wounded (the only thing to count out is her dying instantly, thats the one scenario that couldn't happen for story purposes).

 

But given the last panel and the reaction, obito may react in time is what many are going with.

That's all true and all but we have to consider the fact that Kishimoto may spam on Obito's last strength just as he has done with kakashi's overuse of the Sharingan. A lot of people got frustrated and furious that Kakashi used Kamui so many times in this one arc then the couple times he said he can only use rarely back in the kazekage retrieval arc. (Plus not going blind from overuse of the MS) it's possible that Kishi may parallel this trait with Obito as well..........wait to late he already is cause Obito isn't DEAD yet!!! XD

And also about if Obito would take the black rod attack instead of Sakura and be stabbed, he wouldn't need to cause he still has that six paths staff of his to block the black rod right??? O_o lol

 

I thought Kakashi got constant Kurama chakra refills to allow for such constant use.

 

The reason why Obito and Black Zetsu aren't dead yet is most likely because Naruto did the same thing with Obito that he did with Gai.  That would explain how Obito could send Naruto back, without kicking the bucket.

 

If his Rin complex comes into play, he's likely to act on impulse and not think of the wisest action to take.

I was just surfing on youtube especially on sawyer7mage's videos. God so comments saying they want Madara to kill Sakura. I just laugh like Kishi will do such thing to a main character and also a character he is fond of. Lol its all for the sake of Hinata getting together with Naruto.

OK i posted this in the NS debate thread so i thought i do that in here also .

 

 People are basically freaking out for nothing especially SS they hope now that since Sasuke has the almighty asspull eye of the Juubi that he can use every sharingan jutsu and teleport to the Kamui dimension despite that his powers of the Rinengan were shown in this chapter and guess what he didn't have that ability plus if he had he wouldn't have needed Tobirama's assistance to get to Naruto and Madara . Also there is no evidence not even a hint that someone else beside the user can go to that dimension , the user of the jutsu dictates who can go in and out not the other way around also if it was possible for someone to get in while the user teleports to that place then that would be a weakness of the jutsu that Kishi has never presented to us before  if this was possible then he would have showed this weakness during the fight of Obito vs Naruto and Kakashi when the weaknesses of the jutsu were being revealed  presenting that now would be a plot hole . So Sasuke going in there is impossible .

 

Btw looking through this chapter again for the 10 time i noticed that Naruto trapped the shadow clone of Madara with that Seal Rasengan and it was established in this chapter that the damage that shadow receives is transferred to the original when the shadow returns to him right ? So maybe this is how Naruto can help Obito and Sakura by stopping/delaying the real Madara movements enough for Obito and Sakura or just Sakura to escape or fight BZ then escape this is what i think will happen .

I think it is a forgone conclusion that Madara get's his other rinnegan eye back. Madara is currently getting beat down by Naruto and Sasuke and needs a powerup to do so.  The plot demands he get's his eye back which is why Sakura hesitated long enough for Madara to show up at the last second as well as why Obito didn't destroy it himself when he was in the Kamui dimension waiting for Naruto to recover.

 

Still if made Kakashi look bad being eyejacked and would make Sakura look really bad if she does nothing else. I really hope the reason Kishi has Sakura alone with Obito in the other dimension is so she can show some character development and do something kickass. She has healed which is good and punched a Zetsu clone and Jubi clones but has yet to do something truly kickass this entire war. This could be her one moment to shine even though destroying the eye is not an option. She has yet to realease the seal and show her full power and part of me wants her to take damage because every other member of team seven has been stabbed and knocked down numerous times this war while all she has is sum cuts and scrapes.

 

Knowing Kishi though what I fear will happen is Sakura simply get's saved as a damsel in distress like usual and does nothing else except be on the sideline and maybe be lucky enough to be graced with the responsibility of powering up Kakashi by implanting Obito's other sharingan to him before he dies. This could create a cheap Rin/Sakura parallel which would mean nothing to me. An o.k. but not great medical ninja in Rin was able to easily transfer Obito's eye to Kakashi and considering how easily eyes are replaced there is nothing impressive about it and Sakura would be reduced to nothing but a plot device for other characters.

I agree madara would get back his eye.
I think obito will deflect it or sakura evade it. One way or another obito will loser control over bz and make madara get his eye back and leave. Unless he want to humiliate naruto, he will bring sakura.
