I was thinking that if Sakura was going to release the seal, it would be either of the below due to excessive use of chakra.

1.) Kuchiyose no Jutsu

2.) Souzou Saisei 

3.) Slug Sage Mode

 

Now that she could summon Slugs without releasing the seal, option 2.) and 3.) is left.

And the chances of her getting the Slug Sage Mode has increased.

Anyone wondered what Sakura Meant when she said " I'll be here if anyone needs healing" and then she said " if it's the current me"

 

You know I thought that was strange too, but I thought it was just a translation error, but who knows maybe Sakura is up to something. The chapter itself was cool, seeing the teams getting heated over showing their new moves was funny and interesting. I love getting to see them do new jutsu and techniques. The whole Hinata thing was a bore, I don't think she gives Neji enough credit. He was the one that was telling her how to achieve the 64 fists, and yet she refers to Naruto afterwards :/ way to honor Neji there Hinata.

What happened (Romance wise) to the equivilent of Hinata in Dragon quest? Kishi is being heavily influenced by dragon quest and i'm curious

A commingling of the ultimate regenerative technique with one of the most powerful methods of fighting in the manga which grants enhancements to all of your stats. She would achieve a mixed fighting style that is reminiscent of both Tsunade and Naruto. Just one punch in that state would likely shatter an appendage of EMS Susanoo easily. Sakura's healing abilities would be heightened immensely and any sort of injury that she sustains would be restored instantaneously restored. Now I am beginning to wonder how sage chakra would impact the restorative process of other characters or Katsuyu if she were to distribute her reserves to heal others.

Ok I liked this chapter.

It was rookie-centric not much team 7 like I wanted but here goes.

First off team 8, not very fond of this team but I liked the perkiness in kiba and I liked his new technique, it was cool, shino's was normal. Hinata, well didnt expect much from her, and im not surprised how she shined, didnt like it, not creative, but she pushed herself, and managed to get to 64 palms, that still doesnt make her stronger than neji, but she's managed to take a step forward. Now that hinata has come to a full circle, having naruto tell her shes strong on her own, and holding his hand like she wanted and..getting the 64 palms..well thats not much but meh, whatever. Im just so happy shes done!

Now this is what I've been waiting for!! Team 10, Ino-Shika-Cho combination back in action and better than ever!!!
I just loved everything about them!! The new awesome technique! Creative, funny and AWESOME!!! I loved it when ino or shikamaru? I cant remeber, anyway one of them said something like " we're not done yet! This is our shining moment! We've still got more than that!!" Something along those lines, that made me crack up! XD So we were wrong about before, the time kishi said hat all your fav characters will shine, this is what he meant! Not anything before that! Team 8 and 10 shone now! But what about team gai? (Is it team 6 or 9?) Oh well, we'll jist have to wait and find out.I gues its cuz they're older than the others but as gai said in the chunin exams he decided to delay them a year, I dunno.

Uuuggghh and sai was soooo...whats the word? Cute? Nahh..I dunno, but he was badass when he was like "im a part of team 7 too!" And heck you are man! Your totally a part of team 7 and be proud of that! Im looking forward to some more stuff from him! ♡

Man sakura has really improved, byakugo seal and summoning, man...she's probably increased in strength about 20x more! And naruto and sasuke too.

Id say the other rookies probably only..9x more. Not much.

And am I seeing a future comment from gamabunta about naruto and sakura? *cough*girlfriend*cough*

Overall I give this chapter a 10/10 i'd personally give it a 9/10 mainly because there wasnt much team 7 which= Sakura badassery and naruto and sasuke too, but since this chapter was meant for the rookies, its an acception for me, so im not complaining, hopefully next chapter we'll be back on track with team 7 and the hokages.

Overall, it was a "good" chapter. I didn't "squee" nearly as much as with some other chapters, but nothing made me cringe or anything. Okay, that's a lie: I had Ino's reaction to Shino's bugs. 

 

I was happy to see Sai again! Perhaps, Kishimoto will give us an update on Yamato soon? 

 

The Hinata moments have been a bit over-kill, but I'm not saying that because I don't like her or anything. Rather, I think other characters deserve to have a spotlight (even if brief) placed on their own moments of the same sort of introspective growth.

 

Oh, and the Chouji Yo-Yo? Epic.

Sai has stated that it is impossible to get near the Bijuu because 1.) they need to slip by the Bijuu clones while cutting/mowing them. 2.) the distance is too far for them to jump and get near them 3.) they need time to seal while defecting the enemies attacks 4.) Naruto doesn't have chakra to give to the alliance 5.) the medic team can't go in the front lines so the the damage will be huge.

 

Team 7 has cleared the above so-called impossible reasons by summoning their animals. And basically, team 7 are the only ones now that can get near the real Bijuu. Sakura's comment is meant that in her current state she is capable of going to the frontlines, therefore can heal if necessary.

We know that Sakura has stored up a very precise amount of chakra for one reason. Like Atheck says it may be all three! 

I also think that her own jutsu may be a huge possibility as well. I'd be really excited for a slug sage mode now that we know she can summon slugs!

 

By the way, I really love the use of Sai in this chapter, and Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke's answer (summons) to his doubts.

 

As for the trio summon, it is really exciting to see them working together as opposed to the "three way stand-off", although it may be foreshadowing! From the myth that Kishi uses, all slug magic is used to counteract with snake magic. While snakes have venom, slugs have healing. While snakes have maneuverability and lethal quick strike, slugs have acidity that nullifies the attack.

It could be that Sakura could call her slug so it can help heal if she wanted to still fight as well, Sakura fighting with her slug helping to heal, or just going back to healing, both are viable.

I hope you're right, and this means the focus wil be on team 7.

Because honestly I don't care about most of the rookies. I personally felt like it was fanservice this chapter, because everyone is showing their power now all at once? It's not even a plan, and it looks like they're doing everything with ease.    Sakura is one thing, she had to complete her seal.

 

I just want team 7.

Am I the only one that sense Hinata moving on from Naruto romantically and just being there as a friend in her panals.
 
It fells like kishi just killed NaruHina in this chapter.

Masashi confirmed the pairing narusaku on chp 631 and hinatas panel shows that she heard what was going on. So she knows that naruto and sakura are in a relationship. In the current chapter yeah, it finally looks like hinata has come to an end.

To people on this forum? It's a possibility since so many already consider her to be Kage tier. Sakura would become the ultimate taijutsu warrior who is incomparably powerful through her strength and healing abilities. Mobility would not be an issue anymore since SM grants an enormous increase to the user's movement.  If we are referring to her dissidents on other forums it would be necessary to have her receive universal recognition from everyone as a Kage level character.

 

If all of the slugs are able to disperse into a multitude of smaller creatures like Katsuyu is capable of doing then they could theoretically remove any part of their body that has been engulfed in Amaterasu flames but that particular segment would be permanently destroyed unless it was somehow able to endure for seven days and nights through constant regeneration.

Does Sakura mean she'll now heal anyone that gets injured along the way towards the Juubi or was she just stating that the way she is now she can go towards the Juubi as well since she's able to break the medic nin rules?

Guys, just ignore the bashers.  They will never change their minds, and there are far better ways to spend our time than to talk about what they're saying.  It only drags the topic down and worsens the atmosphere.

 

Let's just focus on the chapters themselves and enjoy our moments whenever they crop up.

 

The InoShikaCho Human Yo-Yo combination just felt... surreal.

 

Poor Sai got shot down, but at least he hasn't been forgotten and is now on the frontlines with the original Team 7!

 

I found it amusing that Gamakichi is smoking a cigarette, instead of the pipe his father favours.  I'm not sure that will get past the censors in the US.
