Damn, 16 pages as I'm writing this (probably 17 but the time I'm finished), nothing really bothered me about this chapter because I just see this as Hinata's holding hands thing is fulfilled. While other people are saying the NH is cannon but I prefer to hold out until the last page of the last chapter before I call any ship even NS cannon.

On the plus side for this chapter I really loved Kurama's part in snapping Naruto out of it .

I can't wait for the next chapter but unfortunately I'll have to (my time machine don't work for s***).

and the next chapter will have color pages... So we'll have the first page in colour within Naruto&Hinata holding their hands.... so....terribly... And I'm in awe of the cover too...

Kishi and his logic.... I thinks he ruined everything... At this rate I thnk the purpose of the last movie (ROAD TO NINJA) was keeping us happy for a little.

There is one thing I want to point out,
1- Is thanks to you that stayed at my side. Naruto. Sadly that is false since Kakashi and Sakura are the one who always stayed at his side, so because of that I can say that Kishi might of change his mind about the pairing since he have Naruto say something that contradict his own story.

Can someone highlight Sakura's expression when Hinata was holding Naruto's hand?

This chapter was released literally five minutes after I got home. I did my usual routine - checking the narusaku tag on Tumblr. The first post that came up was the ending with Naruto and Hinata holding hands.

Over the past few hours I've been occasionally observing the change in mood as more and more narusaku fans voiced their opinions. Initially everyone was sad, angry or confused. Then people started to post supportive messages to each other. it was very nice to see how there are so many narusaku shippers around who will support the pairing forever. <3

Because Sakura is no more the main heroine of the series?

You're saying as if the manga has ended and there's no spotlight at all for Sakura. Sakura's role is going to be next but no one knows when. It could be in this arc or when she meets up with Sasuke again. Let it be how the manga goes with her. He won't let his heroine fall down and all the other characters rise.

If Hinata played a role that is somewhat significant to a main character, it doesn't mean she has stolen Sakura's part as a heroine. Kishi is beginning with some of the side characters for spotlight and than drag it to the main characters. Leave the best and the important for the last. For example, probably we'll see Shikamaru's and Ino's role next with what they planned along their comrades.

There is one thing I want to point out,

2- More importantly, Hinata was fan girl ling, she made it seem like she finally had her trophy.

Again either Kishi changed his mind and start to force NH on us since Hinata has never stayed at his side more like stalking him or he wanted to show us that there isn't any genuine affection or romantic atmosphere between Naruto and Hinata, lastly Sakura chocked expression, she didn't smile, Kishi didn't show us her thought and he didn't need to show her that way and then keep it in suspense.

Big boos for NH let see what happen between Naruto and Sakura next.

Bolded is what I have been feeling and saying. Yes, it does feel like Naruto is taking every sacrifice done for him and projecting it all onto Hinata. It feels like Hinata, just by the virtue of being the latest in a long line, when Naruto has FINALLY woken up, has been given the credit for everything everyone did till now.
Everyone did their bit, but as usual, as is the norm in Naruto, someone got the entire credit.

Not good writing Mr. Kishimoto, not Good.

I'm definitely still sad (if the video I put was any indication) but I'm not giving up on NaruSaku! I stil have hope it will happen, despite this very bad blow to us. NaruSaku isn't dead yet. I need more proof that it is through more NaruHina proof. Which we don't have besides that one chapter.

Just wait and see I guess. This war arc is either gonna make or break NaruHina. We'll see which one wins out.

Anyways, I'm going to bed. I'll probably wake up with a lot of posts on this thread to read.

there's no vignette about sakura's expression in regard to when hinata was holding naruto's hand... We see her only 2 times, one when she comes to know about neji's death and she seems shocked as everyone (page 4), the other one when she looks surprised after Hinata slapped Naruto (page 8).

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but it's good for the people who jumped ship that they did. Because, if this chapter was enough to make you give up on NS, you weren't really a NS fan in the first place.

And to the people who says that Sakura was jealous looking at Hinata and Naruto, I disagree. Hinata's speech was inspirational, and everyone in the alliance was listening to it after the despair of people dying. Sakura is not an exception, she too was feeling despair with Neji's death needing of some hope. And do you honestly think that Sakura is such a love-sick girl who feels jealous of Hinata being with Naruto when Neji has just died!? Come on people! Sakura is not that pathetic!! Not to mention, that it's such a double standard that we are criticizing Hinata for thinking about love all the time in the middle of war, and yet at the same time we are hoping that Sakura is jealous of a NH panel.

But I really dislike when someone gets undue credit, even when it was Naruto.... so yeah, the inner crusader for peace and justice in me was not as indifferent as it otherwise would have been.

More importantly Hinata didn't say she loved Naruto. If Kishi is going to confirm a pairing then he should do it better then this. Then again it is Shounen and by Shounen Law this may actually be all he's allowed to do.

THIS^ NH is NOT canon until Naruto says he loves Hinata and the only thing we know that is a 100% correct is that he WILL ALWAYS love Sakura.
