About Shikamaru's line, the MR version is correct. As for Kiba's line it could go with both MS and MR version. It's just Kiba saying that Naruto's smell is different to before.

Thanks! I guess I was over-thinking how the different versions translated the chapter, and it looks the simplest solution was the correct one. I usually prefer MR if both are translated at the same time, but I've seen both of them make flubs before, so I try to read both if the chapter features a heavy amount of monologue/dialogue.

Thanks again! I'll be sure to send you a message if I'm ever curious about a translation or the context of a scene. Which seems to happen fairly often.

I agree. I got this feeling whatever Mu will summon with the Summoning Jutsu is gonna be bad. X_X Especially since he faked out everyone into thinking Naruto killed him again.

What I also wanna see is what is gonna go on with Sasuke's throwing himself into the war, and what Itachi's role will be.

As for the translations, I should warn you guys that if on MS naruhodo is being credited as the translator, you should take it with a grain of salt as he is levels below HBK-senpai in terms of quality translations. The chapter on MS was translated by naruhodo.

In my local translation, it was Kushina's mother who taught Minato the Uzumaki-style Fuuinjutsu, not Kushina. Now I'm wondering if this is true or not. Could you please have a look at it?? thanks.

I've had this idea for a while. I think the mods should open up a language section subforum for people like you. It won't be just a place for asking and learning about Japanese. It can be a place where people can ask and learn about all kinds of languages. Anyone agree??

Since you're Japanese and you know very well your own language how about if you translate chapter 474 that chapter has been minstrasnlated because it's "supposed" to be vital for SS's existence. I'm sure you can find the raw version somewhere on the net.

Sai told Naruto that Sakura was lieing about not caring for Sasuke or something, but as for her loving Naruto, that was a completely different thing that Sakura admitted with free will.

I also think this would be a good idea. I suppose it would mostly concern manga chapters, so someone (or me, LOL) could just open an official "Translations" thread in the manga section of the forum. It is a lot to translate, LOL. I'm not sure if Graven wants a certain scene translated, but I think these two pages caused a bit of stress in this fandom.

I guess this has been discussed for a while, but I am curious, when Sai mentions Sakura being in love with Sasuke, if he is speaking in the past tense or the present. All the official translated versions I've seen use the present tense, so it'd be nice to see that confirmed one way or another.

But I guess this is off-topic, so I can move this post to another thread if it's more convenient.

I'm always a huge advocate of the wait and see then judge and then wait and see and then judge again, its an endless process that will never end unless there is a definitive ending. So in this case, the next chapter would be the seeing part of the wait and see where the wait part was the last chapter.
