Yeah, but I'm not really a voice actress, I'm trained as a stage actress, so I'm not sure if I had a good chance in the first place :/

Mmm, I think being trained for the stage is definitely a good start; you at least have a grasp of things like inflection and emotional nuances.

That's true, a lot of my theatre friends are amazing voice actors.

I had such high hopes for this, and then I got lazy halfway through. Now it looks....not as nice as I'd like it to. I can't say I hate it, 'cause I don't, but I don't like it enough to make it my sig (which is what I'd originally planned).

I love the colors, and I've got no problem with the way Kyo and Tohru look--my problem is with that section off to the left. The only thing there is the word "accepted", and it looks empty and awkward if I don't color around it. But at the same time, there's no way I can color around it and make it match the actual drawing; meaning it'll look sloppy and awkward either way, colored or uncolored =__________=;;

In order to compensate for that awkward section, I ended up using too many other effects on everything else and now it looks...too overdone. This is why I wish I had Photoshop to play with, instead of the "editing area" on Photobucket (fun as it is).

*sigh* Off to try and make something else, then.

Edit:: I have salvaged it! Sort of! XD I just cut off most the words/bushes and redid the border.

As of today, I've been on this site for a whole year, ooohh yeeeeah B)

I've become a chauffeur for my little brother--driving him to his theater camp every morning this week, picking him up from it in the afternoons, driving him to rehearsals for The Music Man at the local theater, and anywhere else he might need to go while the parents aren't home. And a lot of times, even when they are. It's not really a big deal, since driving at least gives me something to do, but he's already adopting the attitude that I'm not doing him a favor so much as I'm doing "what I'm supposed to". Pssh, brat keeps that up and I'll drive him halfway to where he needs to be and dump his ass on the curb. See how he likes walking the rest of the way.

In other totally important news, I cannot stop listening to "When the Day Met the Night" by Panic! At the Disco. I've never listened to them, save for one or two songs that make it onto the radio, but when I heard this song in an AMV a couple months back it sort of nestled itself into my brain. Now it won't leave, and I sing along to it all day XP

Just started watching the new Green Lantern review (if you can call it that?) by Todd and NChick...and the way they're acting around each other makes me go bleeeeeeeeeh. It's so obvious they're awkwardly attracted to one another--fine Kona, you win this round!--but...it's just too awkward and makes the review hard to watch.

Being a hardcore romantic that ships things way too much, I can't help but look at them through my shipper-goggles (gawd, how sad--I'm analyzing real romance now) and think, "When do these characters people realize they're based on nothing more than warm fuzzies and agree to be friends?". Obviously, this isn't worth much consideration since it's just my gut-reaction to one video of them together, buuuut....

NChick seems to get quieter whenever she looks at Todd, and that's if she looks at him for very long before darting her eyes away or fiddling with her cup. Her tone, her posture, everything makes it reeeeally obvious that she's diggin' the dude in the mask.
As for Todd....he mostly just gives off the vibe that he's into her but not to the tweaker nervous point NChick seems to be at.

*shrug* It's like everyone knows there's something there, but neither of them wants to say anything and are trying to play it off. And it's not working. And in turn, it makes the review less entertaining than it might have been had they each given their own separate reviews.

.....and now I feel thoroughly weird for discussing real people like a fictional pairing. The deed is done

It got better as it went along, but yeah....uncomfortable, like watching something they filmed on a whim and uploaded without really thinking about their presentation.

*shrug* At least they managed to get some decent talk about the movie in with all the "subtle" flirting and whatnot XD;;

But I'd been hoping to, possibly this weekend with my mom. Now that she and I have both heard not-so-hot reviews of it, though...might just go see Cars 2 instead P=

Hooooly crap I need sleep.

But will I give it to myself? Probably not for a while. Went to sleep around 6AM this morning, had to get up at 8:15 to make sure my brother was getting ready to go to his theater camp. Crawled back into bed and set my alarm for 9:15 so I could get a bit more sleep before having to get myself ready and get him there by 10. Got back home, crawled into bed again and set my alarm for 11:30 since I was expecting a friend around noon and needed time to get ready for that.

Since then I've gotten no other sleep, and have driven back and forth across town three times, cleaned house, and hung out with my mum while Dad and brother were at rehearsal for their show.

In total, I think I got around three and a half hours of actual sleep--I'm not including the time spent laying in bed wishing it wasn't so hot that falling asleep was difficult...

And yet! Here I am at almost 11PM, knowing that I have to get up around 8:15 again tomorrow morning, and I'm still finding things to do instead of crashing. Oh summer. What crazy things you do to my sleep schedule.

@Kona--AAAAAH SO AWESOME I CAN'T STAND ITTTT <333 Doug dressed as Link? Angry Joe as Inigo Montoya? Film Brain dressed as Harry Potter fighting for sole claim to the Critic?? My mind. It has been blown and the thing hasn't even started yet.

I have been terribly productive today!

And now I'm friggin' tired and sore XD

Got only five hours of sleep (a step up from yesterday!), took my brother to his theater camp and got a call from the set designer for Music Man asking if I was available to paint sets (this was around 10AM). Drove over, painted panels, backgrounds, railings, and whatever else have you until 2PM. Picked up my brother, drove home, walked the dogs, drove to the store to pick up dog food, got back home and practiced piano (I'm trying to teach myself) until about 8:30PM, and then watched TV with my mum.

Busy day! Which is unusual for me, being such a lazy person =P

It's been the opposite for me today......complete opposite. Yesterday my friends and I decided to eat some cubes and we stayed up until like 7am. I ended up sleeping till like 4pm and when I woke up I had no idea where I was so it took my 2 hours just to get home. Then I took another hour long nap and ate a bunch of hotdogs lol.
