I think the problem with Sakura right now and why it's so hard for her to let go of her love for Sasuke is that she so desperately wants that fairy -tale love that Sasuke pointed out (and that she actually mentioned in chp3 before the NS bench scene). Like, I think thanks to that moment and the fact that Sasuke actually thanked her after her first confession before knocking out so she wouldn't cry for help, she probably still believes that that Sasuke is still somewhat there and was trying to reach out to him because it was the only thing she could do. And it's not so much that Kakashi's supporting them being romantically involved with each other but he said what he did because Sasuke's actions were incredibly harsh considering Sakura's doing all of this despite how much bad he's done. He's repaying her kindness with a cruel act.  She's just doing her best to save him the only way she can, and Kakashi's upset because Sasuke just can't see it that way. 

 

Sakura doesn't need a psychiatrist...she just needs to let go of her childish view of love-this view that she has to do big things for the person that she loves and if she can't then she's not worthy.

 

Or, she needs to at least realize that Sasuke is not who she thinks he is. He doesn't care for her the way she thought he did (that was Naruto). And I think, this moment is going to make this happen, along with Naruto's confession and, possibly, Sasuke apologizing for his treatment of her and explaining to her that while he may see her as his comrade it's no more than that.

"Sakura, you choose to "love" a guy who abandoned you and tried to hurt you 2 times and even though you cared for Naruto you turned a blind eye to how much Naruto loves you, you can't begin to comprehend how bottomless Naruto's love is for you Sakura! WAKE UP!!!"

 I would hate Kakashi for saying this actually...because he's assuming that Sakura needs to love Naruto just because his "love is bottomless". I'm pretty sure, thanks to Sakura's confession, she's aware of this already. Maybe not to the fullest extent (as she doesn't know that he'll still love her despite her flaws and mistakes or her inability to not do big things for him sometimes. Like I said...she needs to grow out of this way of thinking of love.).  And she's not choosing to love a guy that did those bad things to her...she just loves the guy that he used to be: the one that almost seemed to accept her but then slipped away from her because of events of his past.

I ain't saying she's obligated to love Naruto, but the basics of it is. Sasuke ain't worth her time and she needs someone like Naruto in her life. Naruto needs her. She doesn't owe him anything, but she should give Naruto the chance that Sasuke doesn't deserve.

Obito was right... Kakashi is a trash. I am not saying because he is a SS fan obviously, rather for a lot of reasons, included the his last fabolous spench pro SS and the artwork of year "Love doesn't need a reason, like the hatred".

I don't know what you talking about, those two sentences don't go hand in hand so they kind of have nothing to do with each other. She should give him a chance because it's obvious she wants and NEEDS someone that will love her and cherish her and makes her feel like the beautiful and amazing woman she is and that's where Naruto fits that resume. Lol don't ever compare me to a NH fan they on some other kitten. Yes I know Naruto chooses to do them, because his love is selfless and unconditional, but don't you think sometimes that it bothers him that they aren't together, to see the girl he love try to be with someone else? he's human so of course I expect that deep down he wants that chance to spend his life with her. He doesn't deserve anything but what I'm saying is if she wants to give a chance to someone Naruto should be the number 1 candidate and don't take my words the wrong way but Naruto has been working really hard for it and fought tooth, nail, tears and blood for it I don't think a chance from the girl he loves for the past 5+ years is too much to ask is all I'm saying.

Ehh I think what Kakashi means is that sometimes you don't need a reason to love someone. Sometimes love is the reason itself. But this question actually doesn't have a right or wrong answer as everyone has a different opinion on it since everyone defines love differently. :)

Umm yes I think the opinion that a woman in Sakura's case should (emphasis on the should) give a friend a chance at her heart is disgusting, and no I'm not bashing Naruto by saying this because I believe this in general?? Like...someone who's not interested you in that way, despite being your best friend, shouldn't feel like she/he should give you a chance. If they tell you that they don't really wish in giving it a shot because they honestly can't see you beyond a friend then there should be nothing wrong with that. 

 

And I do like Naruto's character wtf? I like him especially because, while he would like to be given a chance, that doesn't mean that Sakura should feel like she should give him one because she doesn't want to. Naruto doesn't do the things he does expecting her to do anything in return for him. 

 

I think you read my words in the wrong way...I didn't mean that I would find it disgusting if she did give him a chance. What I would find disgusting is if she feels obligated to when she doesn't really want to. Like if she would rather just be friends it shouldn't be a big deal.

In my opinion I honestly feel Sakura fell hard for Sasuke after thinking he needed saving right after receiving the curse mark during the chunnin exams. Just before he was marked she actually called him out on his BS by calling him a coward. Then after he was marked she became constantly worried about Sasuke's health and mentality. While I think Kishi has been trying to portray her love as genuine, it actually comes off as her feeling she is obligated to love Sasuke so he can be saved. Almost like if she can prove to Sasuke how she never stopped loving him she would have a chance to save him herself. It's a desperate love but not a true love. And that's why it hurts her so much.

Nah I'm pretty sure they haven't been released yet. The only reason that ppl think they have is bc one or two of our translators said that it was confirmed  in a forum post or on some other random source. But the problem is the MS has already been known to twist meanings around and MP is usually pretty accurate when it comes to translations. Besides after what Kakashi said earlier about Sakura's feelings it wouldn't make sense.

 

And I know that ppl are bashing Kakashi about supposedly supporting SS, but come on ppl can we calm down for a couple seconds? Take a look at what he says in the mangapanda translation:

After Sasuke says that he was never romantically interested in her, Kakashi says that she just wants to save him and that was all there was to it. He says that she loved Sasuke. LOVED.

 

"She still cries whenever she thinks about you" Naruto freezes up whenever he thinks of Sasuke, just look at the second bell test. He's just as bad as Sakura

 

You can't blame Kakashi for this. This is how Sakura feels unfortunately no matter how screwed up it is. He's not even saying that Sakura and Sasuke should be together. He's Chastising and calling out Sasuke for being a kitten. He's not saying go with Sakura and rebuild the Uchiha clan. He's saying that This girl would have done anything for you (Just as Naruto and Kakashi would have done the same.) and yet you still treat her like she is garbage. Not him and Sakura hanging out or himself and her hugging him or even her confession. At first he thought she was talking about romance, but bc Kakashi told him that it wasn't like that he realized that she was talking about how TEAM 7 WAS LIKE A FAMILY.
