Masashi Kishimoto, a mangaka who we all thought knew what he was doing for the story. A mangaka who we all thought cared about his characters till the better end. The truth behind Neji's death was not for the sake of war, but for a couple. Sakura's parents not appearing in the manga due to popularity. That is all the reason he did what he set out to do for the story. He continued writing it for the sake of popularity. Now that his true colors are revealed there is no going back, no forgiveness can be made.
Jump Festa is coming soon, and there is no point in hiding Kishi, get ready for the storm with your once loyal fans. Nothing you do now is going to change that. All you had was one job to take this story into the right direction, There was still time to stop the key from turning, and you made your decision. Now look what it's done to you as storyteller and a mangaka.
I do not know why but I have a feeling that Kishimoto will not show at JF precisely to avoid the fans

What angers me the most is Kishi's excuse that Hinata was the first person to understand Naruto. Seriously ? I'm supposed to accept such bs from the guy who wrote the story..?!
What exactly did Hinata understand about Naruto other than his pain of loneliness and his nindo ? Maybe, just maybe Hinata was able to understand Naruto better initially simply because she was suffering from the same kind of pain.. ?
'' Sakura only understood Naruto by the middle of the story '' - Yes Kishi, Sakura was a 10 year old girl who had a very normal childhood. She did not understand Naruto initially because unlike Hinata , she did not experience loneliness. How can you expect a 10 year old child to understand others when even mature adults are sometimes incapable of that ?
As far as I'm concerned, I see no fault in Sakura. She was simply acting her age. Its beyond ridiculous to compare Hinata and Sakura then ! Hinata only understood Naruto because she had the same problems as Naruto. This led her to observe Naruto more closely and she found out about his nindo.
Sakura had no reason to do the same. To Sakura, Naruto was this obnoxious prankster who always got into trouble. Only when she was put into the same team as Naruto did she understand that there is more to Naruto than a troublesome brat. How exactly does figuring out Naruto a little later make Sakura any less worthy..?
What happened after that ? Hinata's 'understanding' of Naruto never went beyond his nindo while Sakura understood his dreams, she understood his abilities, his pain of being a Jinchuriki, the importance of his bonds with Sasuke, Jiraiya etc. Its safe to say there is no one who understands Naruto as much as Sakura.
The epitome of their difference in understanding can be seen when Hinata and Sakura are thinking about Naruto in the War arc. Hinata was all 'me, I want your hand, I want to walk together with you, me ' while Sakura was ' Us, your dream is in front of our eyes, no matter what you say we'll do everything together'.
If indeed Hinata was supposed to be that special person to Naruto, why is it that she never ever was shown to even care about his dream about becoming Hokage ? Why is it that Sakura ended up being the only person who, from the beginning till the end, showed an unwavering and selfless devotion to Naruto's life-defining dream ?
Kishi can do all the mental gymnastics he wants in the interviews to try and convince everyone that Hinata was always the one. What he cannot do is erase from our minds the 698 chapters of his manga. And its there for all to see that the person who always understood and stood by Naruto's side is Sakura.
Epic post. Thank you !
I have seen a friend of mine who was much like Naruto(making a fool of himself to get attention) and was in love with a girl who thought he was a buffoon. However, he wrote a touching essay about a girl who accomplished to accomplish her dreams and what he would say to her. He pretty much said what a true friend would say that its not the end of the world, that there is always to keep on living and that he will always be with her. The teacher loved the essay and read it to the whole class (including his love interest). This essay was the undeniable proof of who he was deep down. Sadly, his love interest still hated him and continued to treat him like kitten. Thankfully, he got over her and saw how a kitten she was.
Sakura would have deserved her hate if she continued to speak crap of naruto after all his feats in part 1 and 2. She even gets pissed when Sai trash talked Naruto.

I would seriously be surprised that there's an "event" within the event. I don't ever recall a different reaction than boo or backlash in any event. If it happens in Naruto, I would be shocked.

For the story that I'm writing, I've been looking up the meanings of various words in Japanese that I can use to describe the characteristics of the person in question. Maybe that would help. What type of person are they? What personality do they have, their beliefs? What role do they play in the story?
For example, there's a minor character that dies at the very beginning of mine...so I gave him the Japanese word for 'Dead' as his name. Probably not the best example though lol

..........................They are doing that. You know, since the positive reviews were exposed as robotic, etc. and their reviews(negative ones) were deleted, they began to do more and more negative reviews because they don't want to lose to those guys again. The thing is that difference relies on what kind of person is doing this.
When it comes to SP by example, if they are buying votes, etc. then their comments are just spam and it doesn't matter how many of them are there. Their messages are always about the same thing, as they were selling you something and professional wording.
Also, the site was exposed to NH/SS fandom as well in western sites, so............................
So there really is no numerical superiority or general consensus with the dissidents of Kishi. Much of it is just the work of embittered people who think that inflating numbers will somehow give their beliefs more legitimacy. What a doltish group of people they are. The actions of these people writing multiple reviews are only clouding our ability to see for certain which interpretation of the manga has the greater amount of followers. The automated systems also inflate the numbers, but to criticise that process now when there's people of our own resorting to such tactics is hypocritical.
When it comes to the japanese fandom, we know that before we knew about YJ's existence the negative reviews were 1)the most positive voted 2)were also more in quantity. And, if the negative reviews are even more NOW, after being exposed to 2ch, at least least we know these people are real. You can see them argumentating, not just hating on it.
Much of the NH and SS fandoms are too enthralled in the bliss of their hollow victories to realise or come to the defence of a movie on a foreign website that has no bearing on the future or success of the series. The number of approvals for each review might be greater for the negative reviews, but then the frustration and willpower to see to it that their voices are heard is much greater with those who felt like they were slighted by Kishi.

I really like your arguments man,but what can we do?
Well, the creator himself doesn't seem to care ! There's nothing really that we can do, nothing we need to. Kishimoto's pretty much doing an excellent one-man demolition of his own work.
Epic post. Thank you !.

Thanks I agree. That's why I despise 699. It makes Sakura look really bad, like her part 1 fan-girl self. And the movie makes Naruto look like an ass. Both main characters destroyed for the sake of the over-rated, useless and boring one-dimensional dummy character that is Hinata.

Such an awesome, awesome post!!! What you said makes it so perfectly clear why Sakura is the right one for Naruto.
And after all that 'proof' from the manga of why Sakura loves Naruto, we are deprived of seeing Naruto confess to Sakura why he's always loved her. Not just the crush he's always had, but actually saying when it turned into something more, when he knew he loved her and he could never go back. And that if he didn't get her then he'd end up like Jiraiya. Something along those lines. I'm bumming myself out now!
My favorite part in the manga that shows the difference between Hinata and Sakura is when Tobi appears on the branch in front of Naruto when they're going to rescue Sasuke after he's killed Itachi. Tobi knocks Naruto back into the water, and all Hinata can say is "Naruto-kun! Are you ok?" Sakura tells her not to worry about Naruto, it will take more than that to stop him, and instead she should keep her eyes on Tobi. I love that scene. It's so perfect, and it shows Sakura is in partnership with Naruto in a way Hinata can't even understand.
And in retrospect, after the awful ending and movie, it shows that Sakura is not a girl who's a damsel-in-distress. She's self-confident and ready to fight beside Naruto.
