I think it was out loud, he had to turn around to lock eyes with her and put her in the genjutsu after all.

 

I believe if it was out lout, Naruto wouldn't complain only at the fact he trapped her in a genjutsu, and Sasuke wouldn't have to tell Naruto and Kakashi that she's annoying again. 

 

And can you stop kitten talking to Naruko and theunburnt? They were being calm and nice to you. The way you treat them for having opposing opinions seriously disturbs me.

Guys, please calm down.  Don't blame either Naruto or Sakura, they have both showed mutual support and care for each other throughout the story. One chapter cannot take it all away. Don't play down the feelings of either of them.

 

Blame Kishimoto instead. He seriously messed up this chapter. ALL characters were seriously effected.

I am quite sure that Naruto doesn't know that Sasuke stabbed her in genjutsu. Why would he? Sakura was out cold, so it must have been something bad, so he reacted. If he knew what Sasuke did, NO WAY he would have reacted so calmly.

No, she is not "obliged". Kishi did develop the NS relationship, so story telling wise Sakura should have fallen in love with Naruto following natural events. But Kishi somehow chose to not keep it like that to keep the pairing wars. Unrealistic bad writing I guess.

And just because I said Naruto loves Sasuke, I didn't mean he was gay. There are many other forms of love than romantic love.

Yeah thats exactly it story telling wise she shouldve fallen in love with naruto and that didnt happen. Thats exactly what pisses me of. This kittenload writing of kishi is taken out of nowhere. How bad of a writer can you be to make your readers believe something with writing development and progress for characters that just cant be neglected but in the end you just ignore it just to leave plot holes without no reason. I just dont get it.

Well, the thing here is...i'm just pointing out double-standars, not justifying characters.

Now, you are just putting words in our mouths. In another hand, " As a story, we know that it's predestinated, not that she is obligated, there is the difference. As a person, Sakura won't reciprocate his feelings because that's what she should do. That's kittening her character up even more."

Fair enough.   I normally don't like to blame authors but this chapter...well.. I feel criticism is justified.

An angry look was all Minato gave to the person who kidnapped Kushina. I think it represents the feeling well enough.

Um.....this is awkward and sorry if I'm wrong but didn't you say yesterday that Sakura was a kitten character? Was that my illusion? I'm not accusing you since I said my fair share of things.

I don't get it either. But I kind of expected that the story will take a disappointing turn with how Kishi has repeatedly contradicted his own story, kept on bringing unrealistic characterizations, and created asspulls to cover up plot holes and inconsistencies. So I wasn't THAT shocked. I stopped expecting Kishi and it kind of worked. So all I can say is, you should give up on any expectations you have towards the writer. Believe me, this works :)

I believe you but they having different opinions from you is not a good reason to talk crap to them. They have every right to have a mind and opinion of their own and they did NOT harm you.

I think the term "oblige" is not what you should be using. More like "expected in terms of story development" but definitely not obliged. Because in the story, Sakura has a mind of her own and have her own rights. So she shouldn't be forced to love someone because that someone was nice, or beneficial to her. More like, it's Kishi who is obliged to tell the story how he started and created. Because he is the only one who can develop events to make Sakura "naturally" fall for Naruto.

Are you talking about when he first faced him? Yeah, he used 'anata' with him didn't he? I guess Minato is just super polite lol.. A bit too much sometimes, I was disappointed and caught off guard when I read that. Did he use polite language?

An angry look was all Minato gave to the person who kidnapped Kushina. I think it represents the feeling well enough.

His was a bit more impactful for me, his face was more shadowed and had a sound effect for a glare, even. Naruto had the same damn glare he gave Sakura in 469, it really isn't enough. He got angrier at Sakura than Sasuke, and went on to call Sasuke his friend.

Yes, Kishi created an awesome character, but he didn't develop this character properly. It's a good character, though not well written.

I have no doubts on NaruSaku becoming canon, but you are misusing the word "obliged" a lot. No one, not even a "drawing" is obliged to love someone.
